Financial Accountant

Consumer Additions are delighted to be partnering with a fast growing consumer goods business to recruit a Financial Accountant. This is a newly created role as a result of the growth of the business and will report directly into the Head of Finance and be involved in a wide range of responsibilities across the finance team. **Main responsibilities include:** Preparation of annual financial statements and closely involved in the audit process, including liaising with the external auditors Responsible for process improvement and ‘best practice’ across financial control Ensuring the accounting framework is scale\-able as the business continues to grow Bringing efficiencies to group reporting All financial reporting responsibilities, including balance sheet reconciliations and working closely with the management accounting team on month end **Who we are looking for:** Qualified Accountant A demonstrable understanding of financial reporting and statutory reporting Initiative driven individual who can make proactive changes Excellent communication skills This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are looking to make the transition from practice into industry.
