Hyphen Creatives \- Graphic Designer Internship **Great graphic design is visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires.** Hyphen Creatives is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Graphic Design Intern to join our growing agency.If you want hands on experience turning visual concepts into real world brand identities, in\-store media, and digital campaigns across top South African retail brands, this is where your portfolio comes to life. 01 / WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING \& LEARNING · **Brand Identity \& Concept Design:** Learn to craft cohesive visual identities, from logos and color palettes to typography and key visual assets across print and digital platforms. · **Multi\-Channel Campaigns:** Assist in designing advertising collateral, in\-store retail media, social media visuals, mailers, and digital assets. · **Software Mastery \& Upskilling:** Gain practical experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) alongside opportunities to explore Motion Graphics (After Effects). · **Pre\-Press \& Production Prep:** Learn the fundamentals of file preparation, color codes, DTP checks, and print\-ready file formats to ensure designs translate perfectly to physical production. · **Proactive Innovation:** Participate in team creative brainstorms, research new visual media trends, and pitch 2 pro\-active innovative design concepts monthly. 02 / WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR · **Education:** Currently studying toward or completed a Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communication (Ideal for Vega students \& graduates!). · **Design Fundamentals:** Solid grounding in layout design, typography, color theory, and visual communication principles. · **Software Familiarity:** Practical knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (knowledge of After Effects or 3D software is a plus!). · **Eye for Detail:** Exceptional accuracy, willingness to learn DTP standards, and pride in clean visual layout execution. · **Creative Mindset:** A collaborative, proactive team player who loves problem\-solving and responds positively to design feedback. 03 / WHY JOIN US · **Direct Mentorship:** Work directly under Senior Designers and Brand Strategist to refine your craft. · **Real\-World Portfolio:** Build a professional portfolio featuring live client work across top South African retailers. **Duration**: 6 months **Paid Internship**: Yes **READY TO SHAPE VISUAL STORIES?** Send your CV and a link to your Design Portfolio to **people@hyphencreatives.com** Ability to commute/relocate: * Durbanville, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Application Question(s): * Currently studying toward or completed a Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communication * When are you available to start?
