The Role You’ll work with a varied portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, helping deliver high\-quality accounting and tax services. Your responsibilities will include: * Preparing year\-end accounts and financial statements for a diverse client base. * Assisting with personal tax, corporation tax and VAT returns. * Building relationships with clients, gathering financial information and resolving queries. * Completing balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing financial information for accuracy. * Supporting senior accountants with client projects and advisory work. * Using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage. * Identifying opportunities to improve processes and working practices. What We’re Looking For * Around 2–3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice or similar environment. * AAT qualified or actively studying towards an equivalent qualification. * Experience preparing accounts and assisting with tax compliance. * Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. * Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills. * A confident communicator who enjoys working with clients. * A proactive attitude and a genuine desire to learn and develop.
