Financial Analyst

**Financial Analyst** The **Financial Analyst** is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, developing forecasts, and providing insights to support business planning and strategic decision\-making. This role works closely with accounting, finance, and operational teams to monitor financial performance, identify trends, and recommend opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency. **Responsibilities:** * Analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and operating results. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management. * Develop financial models to evaluate business performance, revenue, expenses, and profitability. * Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes. * Analyze variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts, providing explanations for significant differences. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify financial trends and potential risks. * Prepare presentations and reports for senior management. * Support cash flow analysis, expense management, and financial planning activities. * Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. * Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and increased operational efficiency. * Assist with special projects, business cases, and ad hoc financial analysis. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. * 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, or financial planning. * Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem\-solving skills. * Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling. * Experience with financial reporting systems, ERP platforms, and business intelligence tools. * Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings clearly. * Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. * Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP\&A). * Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting and data visualization tools. * Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. * CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus but not typically required for a mid\-level role. **Key Competencies:** * Financial modeling and forecasting * Budgeting and variance analysis * Data analysis and reporting * Business acumen and strategic thinking * Communication and presentation skills * Problem\-solving and process improvement **Compensation:** $85,000 \- $95,000 *Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job\-related qualifications.*
