Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

**Role Overview** Provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with healthcare teams to improve outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate communication to deliver high\-quality care while respecting patient autonomy and dignity. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritizes care tasks. **Key Responsibilities** * Assess patients accurately based on their medical conditions. * Administer medications as prescribed and provide age\-appropriate care. * Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans. * Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical skills. * Address psychosocial needs, communicating with social services for discharge and post\-hospital care. * Practice cost\-effective resource management. * Prioritize patient safety and promote a safe care environment. * Engage in lifelong learning to stay current in nursing practices. **Qualifications \& Skills** * Graduate of an accredited nursing program. * Computer literacy required; additional certifications preferred. * RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.
