, rather than solely individual components.
What you'll do
* Review customer specifications and translate requirements into practical electrical engineering solutions
* Develop preliminary electrical concepts and designs during the sales, applications and bid phase
* Carry out electrical engineering calculations and assess project power requirements
* Develop solutions involving
**HV/LV power distribution, MCCs, switchgear, control panels, instrumentation, PLC/control systems and electrical auxiliaries**
* Produce and review

* Ability to interpret technical specifications, electrical drawings, schematics and data sheets
* Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and technically accurate customer\-facing documentation
* Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills
* Commercial awareness and an understanding of how engineering decisions affect project cost and customer requirements
* HND or equivalent engineering qualification, ideally within Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; a degree would be advantageous
Particularly relevant experience
Experience within an
**OEM, systems integrator, EPC, industrial engineering business or manufacturer of large/capital equipment**
