Working within a modern manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably while supporting the site's ongoing continuous improvement programme. As a Shift Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining a wide range of production and process equipment, ensuring maximum plant availability, and supporting operational performance. **Key Responsibilities:** * Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across manufacturing equipment. * Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime. * Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and efficiency. * Working collaboratively with Production, Technical and Engineering teams. * Assisting with machinery installations, upgrades and improvement projects. * Ensuring all engineering work is completed in line with Health \& Safety, Quality and Food Safety standards. * What We're Looking For * Experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer or Multi\-Skilled Engineer. * Background within FMCG, food manufacturing, beverage manufacturing or another fast\-paced production environment. * Strong fault\-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical and/or electrical systems. * Experience delivering planned and reactive maintenance. * A recognised engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC or equivalent). * A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement. **What's on Offer** * Competitive salary. * Continental shift pattern. * Opportunity to join a stable, growing manufacturing business. * Modern production facility with ongoing investment. * Supportive engineering culture with genuine opportunities for development and progression.
