Senior / Manager Tax Preparer

**Overview** We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented EXPERIENCED Tax Senior or Tax Manager (based on experience) to work with our clients for various levels of tax (individuals and businesses). In this pivotal role, you will oversee complex tax strategies, ensure adherence to regulatory standards, and provide expert guidance on a wide range of tax\-related matters. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make a significant impact within a fast\-paced, growth\-oriented organization. **Duties** * Oversee the preparation and review of all federal, state, and local tax filings, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. * Manage audits conducted by tax authorities, providing detailed documentation and explanations of financial transactions. * Collaborate with staff on tax matters. * Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar tools for accurate bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA certification preferred. * Extensive experience in tax accounting within public accounting. * Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial software applications (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero), and technical accounting principles. * Proven expertise in estate planning, wills \& trusts law, and non\-profit accounting is highly desirable. * Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data critically with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Experience with accounts payable processes, balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, budgeting, and financial statement interpretation. * Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high\-quality work standards in a fast\-paced environment. * ACCOUNTING FIRM EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.
