Senior Business Analyst

𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗬𝗦𝗧 ⠀ Salary: £57,500–£66,000 per annum Location: Liverpool Working Arrangement: Hybrid, with office or client\-site working at least 2 days per week Contract: Permanent Hours: Full\-time ⠀ 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪 ⠀ Our client, a digital consultancy, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead business analysis across complex digital products and services, with a strong focus on user\-centred design. ⠀ Working within multidisciplinary teams across product, design, delivery, data and engineering, you’ll identify and articulate business and user requirements, analyse complex problems and help teams turn research and evidence into effective digital solutions. ⠀ You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, designers and senior stakeholders, while also coaching colleagues and helping develop business analysis capability across the wider team. ⠀ 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦 ⠀ • Lead business analysis across complex digital products and services. ⠀ • Work with designers to develop and test early product concepts against user needs. ⠀ • Create user journeys, process maps and other visual models to understand existing services and identify improvements. ⠀ • Translate user research into actionable user stories and clear acceptance criteria. ⠀ • Gather and analyse business and user requirements using appropriate analysis techniques. ⠀ • Lead workshops and collaborative sessions with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams. ⠀ • Work with Product Owners and Delivery Managers to establish and manage prioritised backlogs. ⠀ • Identify and apply appropriate agile approaches and measures of success. ⠀ • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and promote user\-centred design practices. ⠀ • Coach and mentor other Business Analysts and contribute to professional development across the team. ⠀ 𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 ⠀ • Significant experience working as a Business Analyst within digital delivery. ⠀ • Strong experience working within user\-centred design environments. ⠀ • Experience collaborating closely with designers and influencing user research approaches. ⠀ • Strong requirements gathering, analysis and process modelling skills. ⠀ • Experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria. ⠀ • Experience analysing information from multiple sources, including research findings and digital analytics. ⠀ • Experience planning, implementing and adapting agile ways of working. ⠀ • Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills. ⠀ • Familiarity with digital service standards such as Government Digital Service standards or equivalent. ⠀ • Experience coaching or mentoring colleagues. ⠀ 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗥𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 ⠀ • Experience managing work around client requirements and contributing to proposals. ⠀ • Experience helping establish project goals and ensuring delivery remains aligned with them. ⠀ • Experience contributing to professional communities and providing constructive feedback to colleagues. ⠀ 𝗕𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗙𝗜𝗧𝗦 ⠀ • 25 days’ annual leave plus UK public holidays. ⠀ • Contributory pension scheme, including a 6% employer contribution. ⠀ • Critical illness cover. ⠀ • Life assurance and death in service cover. ⠀ • Private healthcare and dental options. ⠀ • Flexible benefits scheme. ⠀ • Electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme. ⠀ • Season ticket loans. ⠀ • Wellbeing support. ⠀ • Volunteer days. ⠀ • Up to £8,000 relocation support, subject to terms and conditions. ⠀ Interested?
