Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include: • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships. • Managing a portfolio of clients, providing proactive advice and maintaining strong client relationships • Preparing and reviewing corporation tax and self\-assessment tax returns • Reviewing and submitting VAT returns. • Liaising effectively with clients, HMRC and colleagues to resolve queries and provide technical support. • Assisting with the development and mentoring of junior team members • Supporting managers and partners with client and office related matters. To be successful in this role, you'll have: • ACA or ACCA qualification (or be qualified by experience) • Previous experience working within an accountancy practice. • Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and UK accounting standards • Experience managing client relationships and handling a varied portfolio • Excellent communication and organisational skills • A proactive approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service
