About the role
This is an excellent opportunity to work with large, complex datasets in a fast\-paced retail environment, helping the business make smarter, data\-driven decisions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns and commercial opportunities.
* Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and analytical solutions.
* Translate complex data into actionable business insights.
* Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
* Support data quality, accuracy and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Identify opportunities to improve business performance through data analysis.
**Requirements:**
* 2\+ years' experience in a Data Analyst or similar analytical role.
* Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
* Experience with SAS and/or Python.
* Exposure to AWS or other cloud\-based data platforms.
* Strong analytical, problem\-solving and communication skills.
* Experience within retail, FMCG or a similarly data\-rich environment would be advantageous.
* Exposure to SAP would be beneficial.
