**Client:** Our client invests in a range of complex secondary transactions on a global basis and has closed 6 funds with AUM in excess of $20b. They are currently seeking an Analyst for their New York City office. This position is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing firm with an exceptional track record of success. **Responsibilities:** * Conducting in\-depth research and analysis on potential investments * Working on small deal teams to complete due diligence efforts, including significant interaction with private equity fund managers and company management teams * Deal structuring, valuations, financial modelling, deal execution * Preparation of advanced models in Excel * Drafting detailed investment memoranda and presentations * Assisting in the management and monitoring of portfolio companies * Maintaining firm deal pipeline databases and ensuring that all relevant data is accurate * Coordinating complex, time sensitive processes **Qualifications:** * 1\-2 years of relevant experience (investment banking, private equity, and/or secondaries firm) * Degree in economics, finance or mathematics is preferred * Top\-tier undergraduate school, with strong academic performance * Expert modelling skills commensurate with sophisticated financial investing * Demonstrated understanding of investment processes and economics **Key Attributes:** * Strong intellectual and analytical skills with an ability to structure and resolve complex problems * Great interpersonal and presentation skills, and the ability to form strong relationships * Self\-motivation, discipline, and the desire to make an immediate, positive impact * Desire and aptitude to work collaboratively in a team environment * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure * Excellent knowledge of the private equity industry
