Financial Analyst/Management Accountant

**Financial Analyst/ Management Accountant \| £40,000** We're hiring a tech\-savvy, ambitious finance professional to support a growing group of businesses. This role is ideal for someone who wants broad exposure, enjoys working across both core finance operations and commercial/analytical tasks, and is excited by a fast\-moving environment. This person will help strengthen the day\-to\-day finance function, improve efficiency, and create more capacity for higher\-value planning, forecasting, and reporting work. **What You'll Do** * Assist with the month\-end close cycle and the production of management accounts * Work with our data team to build out impactful and efficient financial\-reporting to aid decision making * Maintain accuracy across systems including Xero and Pleo * Support the FC on financial models, reporting, and forecasting * Help with credit control / chasing debt across the group * Help improve finance processes, controls, and efficiency * Support a wide range of ad hoc finance tasks in a growing business environment **What We're Looking For** * Part\-qualified finance professional, or working toward a qualification * A few years of relevant experience in a finance role * Comfortable across both transactional finance and analysis / reporting * Strong systems confidence and an interest in data, tools, and more efficient ways of working * Ambitious, eager to learn, and keen to progress quickly in finance * Likely to thrive in a smaller, fast\-moving business where priorities vary and people wear multiple hats **Ideal Background** * Experience in a startup, scaleup, or small business finance team * Exposure to a broad finance remit rather than a narrow specialism * Familiarity with cloud finance tools and modern finance workflows **Working Style** * 2 days per week in the office * A varied, hands\-on environment suited to someone who enjoys being involved in a lot of moving parts **Salary** Indicative salary of around £40,000, with some flexibility depending on market rates and experience. **Why Us?** * Broad exposure across multiple areas of finance * Opportunity to help shape processes and improve how finance operates * Strong development potential for someone who wants to grow quickly * Good Vibes Initiative: 6 extra paid days off per year for wellbeing activities think hikes, bake offs, sports days, all the fun stuff! * Additional annual leave for every year of service plus your birthday off * Work From Anywhere Policy Pay: From £40,000\.00 per year Work Location: Hybrid remote in Manchester
