Senior Commercial Analyst

* Melbourne CBD * $130k \- $140k \+ super * Hybrid (60% in the office) **About the Opportunity** An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well\-established, internationally recognised technology business supporting clients across the financial services sector. Working closely with senior finance and operational stakeholders, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision\-making and providing meaningful commercial insights across a regional business. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their core FP\&A and reporting experience while developing their commercial modelling, business case development and stakeholder management capabilities. **Key Responsibilities** * Partner with operational leaders to support business strategy, financial performance and commercial decision\-making. * Lead monthly financial reporting, providing meaningful insights into business performance, profitability and key financial drivers. * Support budgeting, forecasting and long\-term financial planning processes. * Develop financial models and business cases to assess strategic initiatives, commercial opportunities and investment decisions. * Analyse revenue pipelines, costs and business performance to identify opportunities for growth and improved profitability. * Review existing reporting and forecasting processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency and automate manual tasks. * Support the preparation of financial presentations and reporting for senior leadership. * Build strong relationships with stakeholders, translating complex financial information into clear, actionable commercial insights. **About You** You are a commercially curious finance professional who enjoys looking beyond the numbers to understand the broader business context. You're confident working with financial data and are keen to develop your modelling and business partnering capabilities in a collaborative environment. You'll ideally bring: * A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline. * Experience in FP\&A, commercial finance or a Finance Business Partner role, ideally gained within a Big Four firm or a comparable environment with strong financial planning and analysis exposure. * Financial modelling experience and the ability to develop business cases and undertake commercial analysis. * Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights. * An interest in process improvement, reporting automation and improving the efficiency of finance processes. * Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders across the business. * A proactive mindset, willingness to challenge existing processes and a desire to develop commercially Apply via the link or reach out to Abhisha Pradhan.
