**Software Project Manager (Level 2\)** * **Location: Durban** * **12 Month Contract** * **In office 5 days a week (Onsite)** Are you an experienced Software Project Manager who thrives in complex technology environments and knows how to bring structure, governance, and predictability to delivery? Our client is looking for a Project Manager (Level 2\) to lead medium\-to\-large technology projects and programmes, working across multiple teams, stakeholders, vendors, and business functions. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering business value while enabling engineering and product leaders to focus on innovation. **What You'll Do:** * Lead technology projects and programmes from initiation through to benefit realization * Manage multiple concurrent projects, workstreams, dependencies, risks, and stakeholders * Apply the most effective delivery methodology, including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches * Establish and maintain governance frameworks, RAID logs, executive reporting, and dashboards * Manage programme budgets, forecasting, and financial tracking * Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and steering committee meetings * Collaborate closely with engineering teams across SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, testing, and release management * Manage third\-party vendors and delivery partners * Leverage Microsoft 365 and AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot and Claude AI, to drive delivery excellence **What Were Looking For:** * 4 \- 5 years experience as a IT Project Manager * PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, AgilePM, SAFe, or equivalent certification * Proven experience delivering medium\-to\-large\-scale technology projects and programmes * Strong stakeholder, vendor, and executive management skills * Experience with governance frameworks, RAID management, and executive reporting * Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies * Strong knowledge of SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, modern engineering practices, testing, and release management * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Copilot * Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools * Commercial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and financial management **Why Apply?** This role offers the opportunity to lead high\-impact programmes, work with modern technology teams, and leverage cutting\-edge AI tools to improve delivery outcomes and business value.
