Accountant

We are partnering with an exciting client who are seeking an experienced **End\-to\-End Accountant** to join a collaborative finance team and take ownership of the full accounting function. **Key Responsibilities** * Clear interpretation of actual results, key drivers and implications for future financial performance. * Manage and maintain accurate accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations, with a strong understanding of variance analysis. * Maintain strong financial controls and ensure financial results are recorded in line with relevant accounting standards and company policies. * Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency, accuracy and reporting outcomes. * Work collaboratively across Finance teams to continuously improve the speed and automation of financial data capture, reconciliations, reporting, analysis and insight generation. * Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the broader finance and accounting function. ****About You:**** * CPA/CA qualification – ideally qualified. * 5\+ years’ accounting experience – particularly in commercial/corporate environments. * Strong month\-end experience – including reporting, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations. * Variance analysis \& financial reporting – able to interpret results and explain key drivers. * Financial controls \& accounting standards – strong technical accounting foundation.
