Civil Engineer (Entry Level)

You’ll assist with project design, construction documentation, and fieldwork \- gaining hands\-on experience while contributing to the success of our **100% employee\-owned firm**. **What You’ll Gain:** * **Valuable experience** in municipal engineering projects across multiple disciplines. * An **engaged, supportive culture** that promotes professional growth and learning. * The opportunity to **shape your career path** with a company that invests in your success. **Goals \& Responsibilities** This position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities: * Assist in the design and drafting of municipal and civil engineering projects. * Support project managers with data collection, analysis, and report preparation. * Conduct field inspections, surveys, and construction observation. * Prepare technical documents, cost estimates, and plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D. * Collaborate with internal teams to provide high\-quality solutions for clients. * Maintain project documentation and adhere to established schedules and budgets. * Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. * Contribute to continuous improvement in project delivery and client satisfaction. **Qualifications \& Skills** The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following education, experience, and abilities: * **Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering** or a closely related field. * **Relevant internship experience** preferred. * **Engineer\-in\-Training (EIT)** certification or ability to obtain. * Proficiency in **AutoCAD Civil 3D** and Microsoft Office applications. * Strong written and verbal **communication skills**. * Ability to work both **independently and collaboratively** in a team environment. * Detail\-oriented with excellent **organization and problem\-solving skills**. * Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. **Benefits** Ruekert \& Mielke, Inc. is proud to be 100% employee owned.
