With a proven track record of success, our client is on track to stand at the forefront of the industry, offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled financial professional to join their team. **Role Overview:** An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated **Financial Accountant**  for to join an established finance team within the resources sector on a **temp to perm** basis. Based in Perth CBD, this role offers exposure to a complex corporate environment, involvement in financial reporting and the opportunity to contribute to the financial performance of a growing mining business. Working alongside experienced finance professionals, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month\-end reporting and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. **Responsibilities** : * Preparing monthly financial reports, management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations. * Supporting month\-end and year\-end closing processes. * Assisting with statutory reporting and financial statement preparation. * Ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and relevant regulatory requirements. * Managing general ledger activities, journals, accruals and prepayments. * Supporting audit processes and liaising with external auditors. * Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis as required. * Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy and internal controls. * Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to provide timely and reliable financial information. **About You** : * A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. * CA or CPA qualification, or be working towards completion. * Experience in a Financial Accountant or similar financial reporting role. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and reconciliations. * Exposure to month\-end and year\-end processes. * Excellent analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders. * Experience within mining, resources or an ASX\-listed environment will be highly regarded. **Apply Now** To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
