Devops Architect (Java)

We're a hundred and one free spirits, spread between Geneva, Zurich and Marseille, working together to revolutionize the information systems of our banking, industrial and government customers. 🚀 **Responsibilities** * Define, document and continuously improve the technical architecture of business\-critical applications and APIs. * Design and maintain reliable, scalable Java/Spring applications and REST APIs. * Drive technical architecture decisions and ensure solutions are production\-ready. * Manage application delivery and deployment to production, with a strong focus on automation, reliability and quality. * Collaborate with Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Architects and external vendors throughout the development lifecycle. * Implement monitoring, observability and alerting capabilities to proactively identify performance and reliability issues. * Diagnose production incidents, perform root\-cause analysis and coordinate appropriate solutions. * Develop and maintain configuration and security components. * Promote DevOps best practices, automation and data\-driven decision\-making. **Profile** * Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. * **Strong experience in software engineering, application architecture and DevOps environments** . * Excellent expertise in **Java, Spring, JVM technologies and REST API design** . * Experience with **Linux, Kubernetes, Docker and application deployment/build pipelines.** * Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle. * Experience with reverse proxies and networking concepts. * Hands\-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus or Icinga. * Knowledge of security technologies including OIDC/OAuth 2\.0, TLS/SSL, certificates and network security is an advantage. * Experience with AWS/Azure, GitHub workflows, Python/Bash, Infrastructure as Code, Kafka or NoSQL technologies is a plus. * Good understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices. 📍Geneva / Residence in Switzerland is mandatory at the start of the assignment ✅ CDI ⏰ ASAP 📚 French / English fluent **In order to obtain a valid Swiss work permit, we can only consider EU nationals or Swiss citizenships for this role.** *Why choose TechFirm?* TechFirm is committed to local players and associations (sponsor of DevOps Days, JavaUser Group, Meet Up, Glisse en cœur and Les Sommets).
