Systems Administrator

MSQ is seeking a Systems Administrator reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer. This position will work closely with executive leadership for full oversight of all operational IT needs. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for MSQ’s hardware and staff related help\-desk processes including networks, servers, and software, ensuring secure and efficient operations. The individual will work collaboratively with staff to determine our infrastructure needs and as well as assist staff in troubleshooting any system\-related matters, both on\-site as well as remotely. Additional responsibilities include budgeting for IT needs, implementing technical projects, and aligning IT strategies with business goals. Key tasks include troubleshooting, system maintenance, and data security. **Key Responsibilities** * **Infrastructure Management:** Maintain and upgrade servers, networks, hardware, and software systems. * **Team Collaboration:** Assist in the design and development of system enhancements, working closely with the Full Stack Developer to ensure successful implementation. * **Security \& Compliance:** Ensure network security, data integrity, and implement disaster recovery plans. * **Strategic Planning:** Develop IT policies, manage budgets, and align technology with business goals. * **Vendor Management:** Manage relationships with external vendors for hardware/software procurement including VoIP and AWS. * **Support \& Troubleshooting:** Provide technical assistance and resolve system issues to minimize downtime. **Required Skills and Qualifications** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. * **Experience:** Proven experience in IT management, network administration, and system security and cloud technologies including AWS and Azure. * Microsoft Office: 3 years (Required) * Windows administration including Azure: 3 years (Required) * IT support: 3 years (Required) * **Technical Knowledge:** Proficiency in operating systems, network protocols, and software applications. * **Leadership:** Strong project management and communication skills. Compensation at MSQ is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The compensation range for this position is $65,000 – $85,000 per year. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of MSQs total compensation package for employees.
