**Junior Data Analyst** **Detroit, MI** **12\+ months** As a Junior Data Analyst, you’ll turn data into clear, useful insights that help teams make informed decisions. You’ll support analytics projects from requirements gathering through reporting, working with colleagues to organize data, check its quality, and communicate findings. Your impact: Accurate analysis and accessible dashboards help business teams understand performance and act on relevant insights. **Duties** * Gather and clarify business requirements; support business analysis, project management, and Agile project work. * Query SQL databases, including Microsoft SQL Server * Analyze data using Excel, SQL, Python, R, or VBA, and develop reports and dashboards with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or other data analytics tools. * Document analysis and contribute to software development lifecycle (SDLC) analysis, including requirements and testing activities. **Experience** * Essential: Data analysis skills, analysis skills, and technical proficiency with spreadsheets, SQL, or comparable data analytics tools. * Essential: Ability to organize findings, check data for accuracy, and explain results clearly. * Preferred: Exposure to business intelligence, analytics, data visualization, dashboard development, and reporting and dashboarding tools. * Preferred: Understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile methods, requirements analysis, or project management. Pay: $35\.00 \- $40\.00 per hour Expected hours: 40\.0 per week Work Location: In person
