Duties & Responsibilities Job Description: Lead civil engineering design and delivery for renewable energy projects Develop engineering designs, technical reports and construction documentation Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies Collaborate with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams Drive project schedules, budgets, resources and quality standards Ensure compliance with engineering standards, legislation and environmental requirements Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance Use Civil 3D for design, modelling and project development   Skills & Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of civil engineering experience, ideally within renewable energy Exposure to solar, wind and battery energy storage projects Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D Knowledge of soil mechanics, pavement design, hydraulics and stormwater management Strong project management, communication and problem-solving skills Able to work independently and collaboratively Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle Qualification: BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering ECSA professional registration would be an advantage   Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered   Connect with us on www.communicate.co.za and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Engineering recruitment vacancies.   Let us assist you with your career.
