As the **Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.)** some of your essential job responsibilities include: * Provides care to participants as directed and as outlined in the plan of care. * Assists participants with activities of daily living and/or provide all necessary care for participants who are dependent. * Utilizes nursing assistant techniques to provide care to participants in a manner that promotes as much individual independence as possible. Such techniques include walking, transfer assistance, range of motion, eating, bathing, dressing and bed mobility. * Applies knowledge of infection control, fire and disaster policies as needed. * Participates in continuing education and meets the requirements for annual in\-service participation. * Performs other duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS for the Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA):** * A current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Massachusetts. * Must be able to read, write and understand English.
