Position Overview: The position of Legal Resource – Risk Management Paralegal will be part of the service center’s legal team and will provide professional support to Pennant’s legal team. The Risk Management Paralegal helps with every aspect of a case with Pennant from its inception to completion, including providing exceptional service and support to our organization and its attorneys. This person hired for this role will help manage a collaborative team of attorneys and their work. DUTIES \& RESPONSIBILITIES Provide legal support to Pennant’s affiliated operations, including home care, physician services, home health, hospice and senior living Support Pennant’s litigation attorneys Organize and oversee case files Correspond with opposing counsel Draft responses to basic litigation documents (discovery, answers, etc.) Calendar deadlines Execute administrative duties Support and help oversee insurance program, including annual insurance renewals and regular communication with carriers and brokers Maintain files and information relevant to insurance coverage Process legal invoices Demonstrated ability to: Draft legal documents Manage cases Assisting in legal research Process and collect production of documents and electronically stored information * Superior teamwork, time management, and analytical skills required ### The above statements are only meant to be a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job. The incumbent will serve as a key business advisor by providing comprehensive support across contract management, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and all legal matters involving ECHO and its affiliated business partners. The salary range for this position is paying $95,000 - $105,000 based on experience and qualifications. Coordinate execution and retention of corporate records for parent and subsidiary entities. Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure completion of regulatory filings and compliance requirements. Manage state and local business filings, licenses, registrations, and annual reports. Oversee legal budgeting, outside counsel invoicing, and forecasting.
