Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, or mathematics required. * 4 years of experience in operations analysis, business analysis, or a similar role. * Experience in operations research which includes assisting in the coordination and management of large organizations that require the effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people by applying analytical methods from mathematics, science and engineering. * Demonstrated skills in gathering information and applying techniques involving the construction of mathematical models that attempt to describe the system being studied. * Demonstrated creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems in financial, administrative and program management. * Three (3) years of experience in organizing small meetings and tracking technical and financial milestones. * Top Secret Clearance * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. We're looking for a Business Analyst to embed with our Operations team, specifically supporting the Manufacturing \& Quality streams by helping bridge the gap between operational processes and data. This role will be instrumental in building out quality analytics capabilities across the product lifecycle, from production through field performance. You'll own key quality metrics, develop new reporting, build new tools, and partner with manufacturing and field quality engineers to turn operational data into decisions. This is a high-impact role for someone who is able to successfully use analytical skills to target operational challenges and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities * Partner with Field Quality, Manufacturing, and Reliability Engineering teams to define and monitor product quality KPIs across the supply chain * Own quality metrics reporting on production yields, field failure rates, supplier quality indicators to proactively surface trends related to product build and performance * Develop and maintain reporting and self-service analytics tooling for operations stakeholders * Support ad-hoc analyses for test result validation, issue containment \& impact sizing, failure mode investigations, cost quantification * Collaborate with Data Platform and Analytics Engineering to land new relevant quality data sources in Snowflake and build them into usable models * Help define data capture standards for new processes (e.g., incoming inspection, NPI qualification, supplier data) where structured data doesn't exist today * Translate between technical data requirements and operational stakeholders, ensuring operations teams get answers without needing to have detailed technical background Qualifications * 2+ years of experience in an analytical or operational role with a focus on data and analytics. Functional experience working with quality processes and data is a plus. * Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional partners to use data to drive results and initiatives. * Strong technical and analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma, Hex, or similar). Familiarity with modern data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and analytics workflows (e.g., dbt, ELT) is a plus. * Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions * Ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations, enabling technical and operational stakeholders to make informed decisions and drive measurable improvements. * Comfortable operating in evolving environments where processes, systems, and data structures are still being built and refined. * Proactive mindset with a desire to deeply understand operational processes and continuously improve them through data. The Role Operations Analyst II – Material \& Equipment Governance oversees capital planning and governance for Global Commercial Operations, including Base Capital and Shared/Success-Based Capital (SBC). This role partners Field Operations, Network Implementation, Standards, Finance, Procurement, Planning, Product, R\&D, and other key organizations to ensure accurate budgeting and reporting, consistent test equipment standards, effective vendor management, and compliant material governance. Location This role is designated as a fully remote position within the United States. The Main Responsibilities * Capital management (Field Operations): Lead capital budgeting, forecasting, business case development, spend governance, trending, and reporting for Enterprise National, Enterprise Local and Consumer Field Operations across Base and Shared/Success-Based Capital (SBC). * Analytics \& reporting: Provide reporting solutions and data analysis to identify business trends, explain impacts, and recommend workflow/process improvements that support strategic decision-making. * Test equipment standards \& R\&D: Drive research and development for new technology test equipment; coordinate lab and field trials; troubleshoot standards issues; and maintain operations control standards for test equipment. * Material governance: Establish, maintain, and enforce material coding, standards, and approvals; ensure compliance and governance for minor materials, testing equipment, and tools used in Field Operations. * Vendor management: Negotiate with vendors on equipment and pricing; manage vendor relationships; and serve as an ongoing liaison to resolve issues and improve outcomes. * Cross-functional partnership: Function as the Field Operations \& Standards liaison with A\&E Transport, Metro, all Lumen labs, Product, Procurement, Planning, Centralized Operations, Cost Transformation, and Finance. * Systems \& program support: Support project/program execution, including system migrations (e.g., Lumen systems impacting Enterprise National \& Enterprise Local Field Operations and adoption of tools/platforms (e.g., SAP/S4HANA, Power Apps, structured and unstructured data sources). * Equipment inventory \& auditing: Maintain and reconcile equipment inventory and asset records in GCO Inventory Power App; SAP/S4HANA for receiving documentation and PO/receipt matching to support accurate asset validation; leverage Power Apps to streamline intake, tracking, and audit workflows; perform routine and ad hoc audits/reconciliations; and investigate variances to ensure accurate asset tagging, custody, and documentation. * Stakeholder communication: Exchange information requiring interpretation and influence; deliver insights, recommendations, and updates with tact and clarity.
