MEDICAL OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR Bayview Family Medicine is searching for a friendly, compassionate and caring Medical Office Administrator to join our team in Barrie for a full-time position. We’re looking for an experienced Medical Office Administrator (MOA) who has worked in a family medicine practice, and has superior service skills, a friendly, outgoing personality and excellent phone manners. Working alongside our MOAs, the incumbent will be responsible for answering phones; responding to email; managing the electronic filing and fax documents, making appointment calls and promptly responding to tasks within the Accuro EMR program. The MOA works directly with and supports our doctors and our nurse. Do you have? 1+ year of recent experience in a family practice office with multiple providers/physicians Experience with Accuro EMR Competency in managing a very busy desk with multitasking - patients, phones, referrals, task completion, emails, electronic filing and faxing Excellent problem solving, communication and organization skills Ability to maintain patient information in highest confidence and be respectful of sensitive information Efficiency, accuracy and strong decision-making skills are necessary for this role Completion of a Medical Office Administrator Program Bayview Family Medicine offers: Supportive work environment - we’re a great team! Medical Office Assistant Pay: 17.60-19.50 per hour Job description: Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: -Answering phone calls -Validation of OHIP health cards -Registration of patients as they enter the clinic -Screening patients over the phone -Scheduling of patient appointments -Document Processing: Filing, Scanning and assigning patient results, Faxing, Sorting and distributing mail -Managing patient flow within the clinic -Follow up on consultation appointments for patient -Stocking exam rooms -Keeping Patient Confidentiality -Assisting patients \& physicians with completing forms and documentation Experience/ Skills Administrative experience in a health care setting preferred.
