Our services include General Practice, Physiotherapy, and Biokinetics, offering thoughtful, holistic care through clear communication and hands-on guidance. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive general and family medicine, including health check-ups Assess patient history, diagnose conditions, treat, counsel, and refer where necessary Manage chronic disease and pain Men’s and Women’s Health consultations Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory results and follow-up treatment plans Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with the POPI Act Accurately collect and maintain patient records, medical histories, and reports Explain procedures and prescribed treatments clearly to patients Liaise with hospitals and other healthcare professionals in the community Promote health education in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team Engage with pharmaceutical representatives and stay informed on new products Keep up to date with medical developments, treatments, and medications Requirements Completion of residency training (essential) Ideally 2–3 years post community service Current HPCSA registration (essential) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Charismatic, energetic, and patient-focused Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Compassionate nature with a calm bedside manner Confident in managing common clinical presentations Tech-savvy and comfortable working with an online billing system (training provided) Working Hours Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 18:00 Every second Saturday: 09:00 – 16:00 Position Type Locum GP (ad-hoc basis) Job Types: Part-time, Temporary Application Question(s): HPCSA Number Location: Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape (Preferred) Work Location: In person
