Clinical Senior Lecturer/Professor in Dental Education - Dental Specialities and BDS Programme Director

About the role: We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced individual to lead and oversee the BDS Programme. This will include chairing meetings, curriculum, programme and assessment delivery, attendance at University meetings and external meetings as needed in consultation with the Director of Undergraduate Medicine and Dentistry (DUMD). Work with the DUMD and the wider programme team to develop and refine content and delivery of our BDS and BSc programmes, ensuring that they remain dynamic, relevant, and responsive to the evolving needs of dental education, while also meeting the requirements of our programme specification and GDC regulations. Support the team to maintain a student-centric focus aimed at championing student success by providing dedicated support, responding to feedback, and fostering an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. The successful candidate will be managerially and academically responsible to the University of Manchester, and specifically to the Head of the Division of Dentistry and the Director of Medical and Dental Studies.
