What you will do As a Finance Analyst specializing in supporting International Owner \& Public Sector business for the Architecture, Engineering, Construction \& Owner (AECO) software sector, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and decision-making with exposure to senior leaders in the International Owner \& Public Sector organization. You will help to develop and track strategic business decisions to drive efficient capital allocation aligned with Product-led growth initiatives. This role provides a great opportunity for a financial professional to grow their career on a wide variety of financial topics, reporting to the Senior Director, Financial Planning and Analysis. Support the operations of the Trimble AECO Sector with a focus on forecasting, variance analysis, modeling, and reporting of monthly and quarterly results Serve as a trusted business advisor for high level leaders, providing financial guidance and support to facilitate informed decision making Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders to optimize resource and capital allocation and bring action to inefficiencies Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline financial processes, drive efficiency, and improve data and forecast accuracy Partner with Finance and Operations teams to design data-driven insights that support cross-functional business decisions. Experiment with and apply modern data/AI tools (e.g., predictive analytics, anomaly detection, AI-assisted reconciliations) to improve processes. What Skills \& Experience You Should Bring Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant finance or accounting role. Experience in a Financial Planning \& Analysis (FP\&A) capacity, supporting business leaders within a SaaS, software, tech startup, or high-growth technology environment, is preferred. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with MS/Google Office Suite (Excel/Google Sheets, Word, and PowerPoint/Google Slides) and a basic understanding of US GAAP. Analytical \& Problem-Solving: Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a self-starter mentality and the ability to focus on details while also thinking at a higher level. Data \& AI: Experience using data to generate insights for various teams (Finance and Operations). Proficient in applying modern data/AI tools such as predictive analytics and anomaly detection. Collaboration: Experienced in partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and improve processes. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting What Skills \& Experience You Could Bring Familiarity or interest in a subscription/ARR based environment Experience with Domo, Tableau, SQL or Power BI Experience with Workday Adaptive Insights, or other FP\&A EPM platform is preferred Software Industry experience in a high growth environment is a plus! Have the minimal tools as required by the company in his / her possession. Follow detailed instructions and achieve a high level of accuracy and quality in the fabrication process. Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of shop equipment and machinery. Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding is a plus. Responsible for obtaining and maintaining necessary licensing/certification for performing work in areas where such is required. Responsible for maintaining knowledge of local / national codes and industry and fabrication standards. Support the total quality effort. Identify and respond to the needs of internal and external customers 100% of the time. Work within the guidelines of the safety and employee policy.
