Frontend Engineer

CLERASan Francisco, CA, US

$150,000 - $200,000/yr

About the Role We're looking for a Frontend Engineer to own the interface through which the world interacts with distributed systems. This isn't just another dashboard — it's an entire OS for managing Kubernetes infrastructure. Think of the innovation that gave us the mouse, the cursor, the window close button: those sparks reframed our relationship with hardware and made it accessible to everyone. The personal cluster revolution needs that same level of frontend thinking. You'll be an early engineering team member helping shape how developers and small teams manage production clusters — making something complex feel intuitive and powerful. ### What You'll Do Build responsive, high-performance interfaces that work equally well for individual developers and small teams managing production Kubernetes clusters. Prototype new interaction patterns for infrastructure management, test assumptions quickly, and iterate based on real feedback. Establish frontend architecture patterns and practices as a foundational member of the engineering team. Collaborate with backend engineers, working with APIs and backend services to surface real-time infrastructure state in the UI. Implement UI animations and data visualizations that translate complex distributed systems concepts into clear, actionable interfaces. ### What We're Looking For Required (dealbreakers): Demonstrated experience defining and establishing frontend architecture. 2+ years of software development experience. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes. Also required: Experience working with APIs and backend services. Background in systems programming or distributed systems. Nice to have: Track record shipping user-facing infrastructure or developer tools. Experience with complex state management for systems reflecting real-world distributed infrastructure. Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana or similar monitoring/visualization platforms. Experience designing and implementing UI animations. Comfort contributing to backend code in at least one backend language. Experience with GitOps workflows or infrastructure-as-code tooling. Frontend testing experience — unit, integration, and end-to-end — and test automation. Familiarity with WebSockets, real-time data streaming, or visualization libraries. ### Compensation \& Benefits Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 USD annually Visa sponsorship is available. ### Location This is a fully on-site role based in San Francisco, CA. Candidates must be willing to work in-office.

About Klarity Tldr on us: Series B, $91M raised, 7x growth last year. Digital Transformation gave rise to a $600B consulting Industry. AI Transformation will be 10x bigger and will be delivered through agents. We built that. Our AI discovers how work actually happens across every team and application, Structures it into a living Context Graph, and Improves it continuously. ServiceNow mapped 900+ processes in 9 days. DoorDash captured 3,800+ finance operations in 14 weeks. That's not a project. That's compounding intelligence. OpenAI, Google, DoorDash, and Stripe use Klarity to transform how they transform. We shipped GPT-4 document chat within 12 hours of OpenAI's API launch. We move fast, reward agency, and care deeply about our customers, our team, and our mission. The Role ------------ We are looking for an AI Front-end Engineer who sits at the intersection of product design and frontend engineering. You are an engineer first, but with exceptional design sensibility that elevates everything you build. You will be responsible for defining and implementing the "look and feel" of AI-native workflows, ensuring that our complex enterprise tools feel as intuitive as the best consumer apps. Note: We do not require a CS or Engineering degree. We care about your portfolio, your GitHub (or equivalent), and your track record of shipping. Who You Are --------------- Engineer first, designer by instinct - You're a front-end engineer with a natural eye for great design. You can discuss the tradeoffs of Server Components versus Client Components just as fluently as you can critique spacing and visual hierarchy. Expert in modern web technologies - React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind aren't just in your toolkit—you've truly mastered them. You understand the performance consequences of your architectural decisions and ship code that's both elegant and performant. AI-native developer with creative problem-solving chops - You wield tools like Cursor, Claude Code, v0.dev, and Lovable as extensions of your craft. You use AI to prototype 10 variations in the time it used to take to build one, letting you focus on the hard problems: information architecture, user flows, and delightful interactions. Ship with velocity and craft - You find the shortest path to get features in front of users while obsessing over the details that create delight. You catch when animations feel off by 50ms or color contrast doesn't meet WCAG standards. You believe speed and quality aren't opposites—they happen together when you're thoughtful about how you build. Drive outcomes with product thinking - You move from prototype to user feedback to iteration to production with speed and conviction. You own features end-to-end, challenge designs that compromise user experience, and care deeply about the entire user journey. You shape the product through action, not waiting for permission. Bring energy that elevates others - You see "impossible" UI challenges as puzzles waiting to be solved. Your optimism, intensity, and passion for craft are contagious and make the team stronger. Experience: 4+ years of shipping production-grade products What You'll Do ------------------ Architect scalable front-end systems - Design reusable component libraries, establish patterns for state management and API integration, optimize bundle sizes, and ensure the platform performs beautifully at scale. You'll work across the full spectrum from responsive layouts to micro-interactions, with bonus points for diving into Python backends when needed. Own and ship the primary user-facing features - Build the core interfaces users interact with daily. You'll write the React components, integrate with backend APIs, and polish every detail to production quality. Bridge AI capabilities with elegant user experiences - Partner with product and backend engineers to understand what's possible, then create interfaces that expose powerful functionality while hiding technical complexity. Multiply your impact across disciplines - You speak designer, engineer, and product fluently. Use AI tools to rapidly prototype design concepts in code and bridge gaps between teams with working demos instead of static mocks, turning ambiguous ideas into tangible experiences that drive better decisions. Benefits: ------------- Equity in addition to competitive cash compensation 100% Employer-Paid Medical, Dental \& Vision options! Paid Parental Leave $500 Annual Learning Fund $100 Monthly Wellness Fund 401k via Betterment Relocation support to San Francisco Bay Area (where applicable) Office-related Perks: + BART or Caltrain to the office?: Contribute pre-tax funds to a Parking \& Transit account, and you will never be taxed for it! + Lunchtime, Leveled Up: Enjoy curated local eats delivered to the office daily to enjoy with an entertaining team + Snack Central: Drinks and snacks for every craving - from healthy bites to Klarity team favorites. + Onsite Gym Access: A state-of-the-art fitness center right downstairs, and it’s free! + Safe \& Secure Bike Room: Commute in and safely store your bike. Now we are expanding that same disruptive model across all of genomics. With the launch of our new RNA-seq service, we are taking a bold step toward our vision to sequence everything, providing scientists everywhere with faster, simpler, and more affordable access to the data that powers discovery. Every team member at Plasmidsaurus plays a crucial role in driving the future of biotech research. Together, we are building the world’s most efficient sequencing engine that operates overnight, scales globally, and helps scientists make breakthroughs faster than ever before. The role ------------ We are looking for a product-minded full-stack engineer to help us build a product that our customers will love. Work with our bioinformaticians to turn complex pipelines into intuitive web application UIs. Help set the engineering quality bar, practices and culture at Plasmidsaurus so our small team can ship even more. What we're looking for -------------------------- You can pick a problem and solve it. We don’t expect you to be an expert in everything we use, but we expect strong frontend skills and web fundamentals, and a background working with parts of our stack (React, Flask, Postgres, AWS). You have a bias towards action and you ship fast. You notice what's broken, propose the fix, and care whether users like what you shipped. You have strong design and UX sensibility. You ramp fast in new domains. No biology background is required, but you should lean into complexity rather than away from it. What would impress us even more? ------------------------------------ You’ve taken products from 0 to 1 before. Perhaps you’ve been an early employee or founder at another startup like so many of our team – or built successful side projects. You have experience with performant, data-heavy browser rendering (canvas, WebGL, visx). You have background or interest in bioinformatics or life sciences. What we offer ----------------- We are a bootstrapped, profitable company at an exciting inflection point. Ownership and impact. Your work goes directly to 70,000 scientists, including Nobel laureates, who trust Plasmidsaurus with their research. * A tower office in South San Francisco with bay views, state-of-the-art lab, and the occasional batch of liquid nitrogen ice cream. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't perfectly align with the job description as we seek out diverse and creative perspectives. Team members who love to learn and collaborate in an inclusive environment will thrive with us. We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. Staff AI Frontend Engineer

Groupe KlaritySan Francisco, CA, USonsite

$235,000 - $315,000/yr

Experience: 6+ years of shipping production-grade products What You'll Do ------------------ Architect scalable front-end systems - Design reusable component libraries, establish patterns for state management and API integration, optimize bundle sizes, and ensure the platform performs beautifully at scale. Klarity is an equal opportunity employer. Klarity provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, genetic information, marital status or veteran status.* Compensation Range: $235K - $315K

Product Engineer, Frontend

PlasmidsaurusSan Francisco, CA, US

About Plasmidsaurus Plasmidsaurus is on a mission to accelerate new cures and promote a healthier planet by unlocking a new level of productivity for scientists. Our sequencing services are used daily by thousands of innovators, including Nobel laureates, Fortune 100 pharma, and over 70,000 scientists. We began by revolutionizing plasmid sequencing, making it exponentially cheaper and faster, with innovative sequencing technologies and a global network of laboratories that turn samples into answers in hours, not weeks. What you’ll do: Work on the web application where we deliver results to scientists. Ship features end to end, owning the full stack from planning to launch. If you need additional accommodations to feel comfortable during your interview process, please let us know at careers@plasmidsaurus.com.

What you’ll do: Work on the web application where we deliver results to scientists. Ship features end to end, owning the full stack from planning to launch. Blockchain Data Wizard, Analyst or Scientist

AlliumNew York, New York, USA; Singapore, Singapore; San Francisco, California, USA; USAonsite

From $140/yr

The 4 biggest blockchain strengths are also its weakness Permissionless nature leads to fragmentation of meaning Decentralization leads to too many standards Immutability leads to exponential data + query infrastructure complexity Neutrality means that no one is accountable for interpretations Blockchain data is public. It is not usable at institutional scale. Despite being open, blockchain data is fragmented, hard to interpret, and painful to maintain. Even a simple question like “Who are the largest Ethereum token holders over time?” can require running nodes, ingesting full chain history, decoding contracts, cleaning edge cases, and writing complex SQL. Blockchains are optimized for writes, not reads. They are built for consensus and execution, not searchability, standardization, or financial interpretation. Blockchains are computers, not databases . Every protocol defines its own schema. The same economic action can be encoded in dozens of different ways. The result: Fragmented standards Exponential complexity No accountability for interpretation Events without economic meaning Finance cannot operate on that, it needs an effective system of record . Allium is building the System of Record for Onchain Finance Allium ingests, verifies, and standardizes data across 140+ blockchains and 30+ petabytes of history. We close four structural gaps that prevent blockchains from becoming systems of record: Semantic Gap: Translating raw events into financial concepts like payments, trades, deposits, and staking income Standardization Gap: Mapping thousands of protocols into a single canonical cross chain schema Infrastructure Gap: Read optimized, globally distributed data at web scale Accountability Gap: Auditable methodology, SLAs, and SOC 1 and 2 compliance The result is a neutral, canonical data layer institutions can build on with confidence. Finance is moving onchain Stablecoins, tokenized assets, trading, staking, and lending are growing rapidly. Institutions need a trusted source of truth for onchain financial activity, just as they rely on Bloomberg or DTCC in traditional markets. Raw blockchains cannot serve that role. As AI agents begin transacting autonomously , the requirement becomes even stricter. Agents cannot reason over raw event logs. They need structured data, attribution, condition checks, and auditability. Allium is the read layer that makes onchain finance usable for humans and machines. Who We Serve Allium powers three core personas with the same canonical data foundation: 1. Finance, Accounting, and Risk Teams They need reliable, audit grade answers. They rely on Allium for financial reporting, reconciliation, compliance, risk monitoring, and defensible metrics that can stand up to auditors and regulators. 2. Engineers and Product Teams They need low latency, production ready infrastructure. They use Allium to power wallets, trading systems, payment rails, staking infrastructure, and real time applications that cannot break. 3. Strategy, Research, and Executive Teams They need clarity and insight. They use Allium to understand ecosystem economics, market structure, user behavior, competitive dynamics, and where capital is flowing onchain. and of course.. agents 🦞. Our customers and users include Visa, Stripe, G-SIB Banks, Big 4 Accounting firms, BCG, Coinbase, Phantom, Uniswap and cited by the Federal Reserve. About the role At Allium, Blockchain Data Wizards are the data architects who transform raw, fragmented on-chain data into elegant, meaningful abstractions that power the world's largest crypto applications. You'll be equal parts detective, data engineer, and protocol researcher—diving deep into blockchain internals, reverse engineering DeFi protocols, and crafting data models that institutions and developers rely on. What you will do Creating Meaningful Data Abstractions Transform messy on-chain data into unified, intuitive data models (e.g dex.trades , lending.liquidations ) that work across verticals and protocols, providing users with granular, reliable insights. Reverse Engineer DeFi Protocol Mechanics Dive deep into the mechanics of new DeFi protocols, dissect smart contract interactions and on-chain events, extract the data that matters, and transform it into clean, production-ready models using SQL/dbt. Indexing New Blockchains Dive into a blockchain’s raw data structures, ensure complete and accurate data capture, and design schemas that translate native blockchain data into reliable internal models, becoming the trusted source of truth for that ecosystem. Building Metrics & Filtering Noise Design and create metrics people can actually use - volumes, fees, TVL, and user activity, and filter out noise like wash trades, bots, and Sybil attacks. Make it easy for the industry to see what’s real and what matters. Qualities Sherlock & Enola Holmes-Level Curiosity You find peculiarities in data that others miss. You question assumptions, dig deeper when something looks off, and help the industry redefine narratives with evidence-based insights. Product-Minded Data Design You don't just build tables—you design data products. You think about query patterns, performance, documentation, and how end users will interact with your models. Comfortable with Ambiguity New blockchains and protocols have sparse documentation. You thrive when you need to figure things out yourself through exploration and experimentation. SQL/dbt Mastery You can write elegant, performant SQL transformations that process large volumes of data. You understand incremental models, macros, and how to build maintainable data pipelines at scale. Allium's Data Wizards in Action Co-developing methodology to identify organic and meaningful stablecoin activity, powering Visa's Stablecoin Dashboard Reconstructing Bitcoin Ordinals data to power research work Sybil Detection for Wormhole's Token Launch Powering Brevan Howard Digital's stablecoin industry reports Design chain level metrics (Fees, Activity..) for all chains Don't take our word for it, what our customers say about us ( https://www.allium.so/blog#love) What some ~cool people have to say about us: The Information's Top 50 Startups ( https://www.allium.so/post/allium-named-to-the-informations-50-most-promising-startups-of-2025 ) Mario Gabriele from The Generalist's Future 50 Startup List: https://www.allium.so/post/allium-named-awardee-of-the-generalists-inaugural-future-50-startups Tomasz Tungus from Theory Ventures: https://tomtunguz.com/allium/ Bucky Moore from Kleiner Perkins: https://www.kleinerperkins.com/perspectives/allium-series-a/ Ok.. now for some tough love, here are the values we strive for at Allium: Obsessiveness - The best people at Allium cannot put a problem down once they pick it up. We care more about the work than is strictly rational. Institutions trust us because our data is right. Right means caring about the small things. The decoded contract that ships with one wrong field. The label that is 99% accurate but wrong on the address that matters. The query that runs in 4 seconds when it should run in 400 milliseconds. Most companies tolerate these. We do not. Obsessiveness shows up as depth of care. It is not measured in hours worked or visible effort. You should feel something physical when work ships half-right. That instinct is what we hire for. Pro Athlete Mindset - Consistency. Day in and day out, in pursuit of excellence. A win yesterday does not guarantee (or even imply!) a win tomorrow. I hope anyone who supports a failing sports team will feel the pain ( cough Man United fan s) of inconsistency Figure It Out & Extreme Ownership - Every day is unexplored territory. There are new engineering frameworks, new legal docs, new compliance, new sales, new regulations, and new operational procedures every single day. If you don’t know it, learn it. If you can’t learn it, find someone or a product that does it. If you can’t find someone, find someone who can find someone. It is never lack of resources, but lack of resourcefulness. High Agency - (One of) the highest commonality between all successful people is their responsiveness, most successful billionaire CEOs still reply to emails within minutes (within working hours). And when you reply, respond fast with effective solutions - and even better, resolutions. If you’re looking for a superpower, you can’t go wrong with responsiveness. Well of course this doesn't make sense when you're an engineer coding in flow, but in general high agency of problem solving gets one very far in life Leading from the Front - No one is going to listen (and adopt) your suggestion unless you lead by example. It’s one thing to say We need to do XYZ this better & it’s another thing to build an MVP and say “This is the way we should do things”. The proof of work and momentum goes a long way. Events & Field Marketing Manager

Distyl AISan Francisco, CA, USonsite

$130,000 - $180,000/yr

About Distyl AI =================== Distyl is an applied AI technology company partnering with the world’s most ambitious institutions to rearchitect critical operations for the frontier of AI. Our customers include the largest companies in telecom, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, consumer goods, and global social organizations. We research and deploy technologies that power AI-native operations — both for our partners and for Distyl itself. Our work spans research into self-constructing systems, the development of the most reliable execution of AI systems, and products that transform mission-critical workflows. As a result, Distyl's technologies affect some of the world's largest operations — from hundreds of millions of consumer interactions to tens of millions of supply chain transactions and millions of patient journeys. Distyl is backed by leading investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Khosla Ventures, Coatue, DST Global, and the board-members of 20+ F500s. The results reflect this approach: a 100% production deployment success rate for our customers and one of the few enterprise AI companies to run a profitable business. What We Are Looking For =========================== As Events \& Field Marketing Manager, you will own how Distyl shows up at intimate executive dinners, technical meetups, and Distyl-hosted events — and support the broader team on large-scale conference presence and strategic market visibility. This is an execution role with real ownership. You'll manage events end-to-end, keep every detail on track, and make sure every event we touch runs flawlessly. You're eager to learn Distyl's technology and positioning deeply, and able to represent it accurately in the field. You thrive in early-stage environments where you're building the playbook, not running an established one. Key Responsibilities * Plan and host executive dinners, roundtables, and founder dinners with qualified prospects in target verticals * Organize and run Distyl-hosted events: hackathons, customer summits, technical meetups, and community gatherings * Manage the full lifecycle of every owned event: invitation strategy, guest curation, logistics, and follow-up sequences * Build repeatable playbooks for each event type that can scale across verticals and geographies * Support large-scale conference presence and sponsorships — coordinating logistics and on-the-ground execution as directed * Attend industry events and conferences as a Distyl representative, building relationships in the field * Support the coordination of CEO and founder speaking opportunities, preparation, and on-site logistics * Help identify the right stages and rooms that maximize founder visibility with enterprise buyers * Support the development of relationships with analysts, journalists, and influencers in the enterprise AI space * Coordinate press opportunities and liaise with PR resources as needed * Create social content tied to events that drives engagement with enterprise buyers — not vanity metrics * Track event performance and surface data and insights to leadership * Execute on event strategy set by leadership in coordination with PMM * Adapt event logistics and formats across verticals as Distyl expands Who You Are =============== * 3–7 years of experience in field marketing, event management, or a hybrid role in enterprise software * Proven track record planning and executing both intimate executive events and larger conference presence * Experience with enterprise audiences — understands long sales cycles and how to engage C-suite buyers * Eager to learn Distyl's technology and positioning deeply, and able to represent it accurately in the field * A strong executor — you sweat the details, nothing falls through the cracks, and events run smoothly because of you * Experienced across the event spectrum: from intimate executive dinners to large conference logistics * Comfortable attending and representing Distyl at events independently when needed * Organized and able to manage multiple event workstreams simultaneously without dropping balls * Scrappy and resourceful — you can pull off a great event without a big budget or a large team * Comfortable adapting your approach across different industries and buyer personas * Collaborative and able to take direction while owning your workstreams fully * Comfortable with 20–30% travel for events, conferences, and executive dinners * Experience across multiple verticals (financial services, insurance, healthcare); early-stage startup experience; existing analyst or press relationships in the enterprise AI space is a plus What We Offer ================= * The base salary range for this role is $130K – $180K, depending on experience, location, and level. In addition to base compensation, meaningful equity, along with a comprehensive benefits package * 100% covered medical, dental, and vision for employees and dependents * 401(k) with additional perks (e.g., commuter benefits, in‑office lunch) * Access to state‑of‑the‑art models, generous usage of modern AI tools, and real‑world business problems * Ownership of high‑impact projects across top enterprises * A mission‑driven, fast‑moving culture that prizes curiosity, pragmatism, and excellence Distyl has offices in San Francisco and New York. As the Head of Protocol you own the architecture and evolution of World Protocol so it can privately verify unique humans and move value at global scale. Deliver a credible path from today’s OP-Stack/Superchain Ethereum rollup with early AMPC to a decentralized, internet-scale protocol that verifies unique humans privately and moves value at low, predictable cost across ecosystems, all at minimal latency that feel instant for everyday users. You will set the long-term architectural roadmap of the protocol and lead the team that ships it. Based in San Francisco, in office, reports to the CEO. Make crisp calls on validity proof, data availability, state growth, and sequencer design/strategy, with the why captured in ADRs and a staged migration plan. Prove the path with a public testnet and a safe, reversible mainnet cutover plan. Decentralization: Design a credible decentralized sequencer strategy with automatic failover and a clear path to permissionless entry. Distribute AMPC and other critical services across independent operators with SLAs, telemetry, and third-party reviews. Align fees and incentives, including World ID Fees, so neutral parties can run core infrastructure sustainably. Interoperability and DevX: Ship SDKs for e.g. uniqueness and credential attestations that let developers integrate once and run across EVM, mobile, and at least one non-EVM stack. Keep APIs stable and deterministic so reads and writes behave the same under load. Provide reference apps and tests so first integrations land the same day and stay fast as usage ramps. Team and technical visibility: Build a senior, co-located SF team across protocol, ZK, security, and infra, and hire 8-12 exceptional ICs with clear bars. Lead hands on with specs, code reviews, on-call, and a cadence of capacity reviews, chaos drills, and postmortems. Mid-morning, you'll join a planning session with internal creative and operations teams to walk through technical feasibility and budget implications for an upcoming keynote—translating their vision into practical technical requirements and flagging potential challenges early. You may spend some time drafting, exploring or refining spatial layouts and equipment specs for a new or revised space. Between meetings, you're reviewing vendor quotes, updating technical documentation templates, and responding to questions from stakeholders across time zones. Your week typically includes regular check-ins with your production team, vendor partner syncs, and cross-functional planning meetings that keep dozens of events moving forward simultaneously.
