SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Logistics Crew Lead will be a highly organized and computer proficient individual that will be responsible for effectively supporting the direction of the supervisor or manager to mainatain all processes and direction leading shipping and receiving personnel which includes Loaders, Rotators, Pack-Out Drivers, Dispath operations, receiving included raw drivers and 12 pallet and tub operations. The Logistics Crew Lead will be responsible for efficiently and accurately performing tasks related to the shipping and receiving operations and will assume the role as back to perform tasks need in absens of required staffing needs. The Logistcs Crew Lead primary role is to support the Logistics Management Team. Responsibilities also include enforcement of Logistics SOP’s and ensure Shipping and Receiving are properly organized, damaged product properly disposed of and cleanliness of the Shipping and Receiving warehouse’s are maintained. Responsibilities are not limited to activities mentioned above. This individual will report to the Logistics Supervisor. Completes all required documentation including progress notes on the Q-Tel RMS System. Agrees to flex up hours during other staff vacations, attendance to education programs, or meetings due to nature of small closed unit. Job Requirements: Education: Graduate from an accredited university with a BA or BS in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology or Sports Medicine required. Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Adult Fitness/Cardiac Rehabilitation, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current BLS/Healthcare Provider status per American Heart Association standards required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. ACSM Exercise Specialist preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in full laboratory participation in exercise stress testing with oxygen uptake, pulmonary function testing, body composition and client/patient counseling. Minimum 2 years experience with exercise prescription calculations. Minimum of 2 years experience in exercise blood pressure monitoring and exercise telemetry monitoring. Preferred: Experience with high-risk populations in regards to exercise prescription. Work requires knowledge acquired through pursuit of CE's related to Cardiac Rehabilitation, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Prescription, Cardiovascular Conditioning, Cardiovascular Pathophysiology, Cardiac Risk Factors and Modifications and Secondary Prevention Strategies for CAD. Substantial knowledge of: Cardiac Risk Factors and Treatment and current principles, theories and practices related to Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention of CAD. We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Prosthetist Orthotist for our Salinas, CA Patient Care Facility. This individual will be responsible for the evaluation, fabrication, and custom fitting of artificial limbs and orthopedic braces, specialize in designing and making artificial limbs, designing and fitting orthopedic braces such as surgical supports and corrective shoes, and a willingness to supervise and work with a dynamic team. Job Responsibilities: Examine, interview, and measure patients in order to determine their appliance needs, and to identify factors that could affect appliance fit. Fit, test, and evaluate devices on patients, and make adjustments for proper fit, function, and comfort. Instruct patients in the use and care of orthoses and prostheses. Design orthopedic and prosthetic devices, based on physicians' prescriptions, and examination and measurement of patients. Maintain patients' records in accordance with ABC and CMS standards. Make and modify plaster casts of areas that will be fitted with prostheses or orthoses, for use in the device construction process. Select materials and components to be used, based on device design. Confer with physicians in order to formulate specifications and prescriptions for orthopedic and/or prosthetic devices. Repair, rebuild and modify prosthetic and orthopedic appliances. Construct and fabricate appliances or supervise others who are constructing the appliances. Train and supervise orthopedic and prosthetic assistants and technicians, including COF. Update skills and knowledge by attending conferences and seminars. Show and explain orthopedic and prosthetic appliances to healthcare workers. Maintenance of inventory of material in main and any satellite locations. Requirements: Must be currently licensed and/or certified and in good standing by governing agency in your field of study either ABC or BOC. Must maintain CME’s annually in accordance with ABC and BOC guidelines. Must practice within your scope of work unless privileged by a supervisor or practitioner of another specialty. Must adhere to the guidelines as set forth in the employee handbook of Pacific Medical Inc. upon hire. Must attend and show competency in HIPAA compliance, sexual harassment training, and universal precautions training.
