Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Technician to join our healthcare team in Grand Prairie, United States. As a vital member of our physical therapy department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our physical therapists and providing exceptional care to our patients. Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and delivering high-quality patient care Prepare treatment areas and set up therapy equipment for patient sessions Demonstrate exercises and guide patients through prescribed therapeutic activities Apply hot and cold packs, and other modalities as directed by the physical therapist Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment Assist patients with mobility and transfers as needed Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the therapy team Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering phone calls Ensure proper maintenance and care of therapy equipment Collaborate with the healthcare team to create a positive and supportive patient experience Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Current enrollment in a physical or occupational therapy curriculum program preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and empathetic demeanor Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail Genuine interest in helping people and a deep commitment to patient care Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Basic understanding of human anatomy and physiology Ability to follow instructions precisely and adhere to safety protocols Physical stamina to assist patients and handle therapy equipment Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and basic computer skills Customer-focused mindset with the ability to create a supportive environment for patients Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs * CPR certification or willingness to obtain Additional Information Green Oaks Physical Therapy values the well-being of our patients and employees.
