Business Process Consultant (f/m/d) SAP Digital Manufacturing

From $50/yr

Job Description What you'll bring You are ready to build your career where SAP technology meets process industry transformation — ideally in chemicals and pharmaceuticals — and you are eager to grow your expertise through real-world customer projects. * You have initial SAP consulting experience, and you are building your ability to capture production processes, visualise them as process models, and translate them into technical architectures — connecting process and development perspectives as you grow * You identify automation potential, translate customer requirements into functional and technical specifications, and you deliver end-to-end solutions independently — from concept through scenario testing to go-live * You apply design thinking in practice: you uncover what end users actually need, frame problems precisely, and develop solutions iteratively — from prototype to production-ready deployment * You bring solid expertise in SAP Digital Manufacturing — hands-on experience with Production Operator Dashboard (PoD) design and development is a plus * You assess how AI and human expertise are reshaping production environments — and you translate those insights into transformation strategies for hybrid operating models * A degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Business Informatics – or equivalent experience * Fluency in German and English completes your profile We also look for people who build trust naturally, communicate with clarity, keep the customer at the centre of what they do, and bring emotional intelligence and genuine problem-solving ability to the challenges they face. In addition to the skills and experience specific to this role, all positions at SAP require candidates who are comfortable using AI tools — including agentic AI — in their day-to-day work, from crafting effective inputs and automating routine tasks, to evaluating AI-generated outputs for quality and driving adoption of AI practices within their teams. What you'll build You guide customers in the chemicals and pharmaceuticals sector through the transformation of their production landscape — from first pilot to global rollout — turning technological possibilities into tangible business value. * You evaluate emerging trends in smart manufacturing, edge computing, and AI-driven production control — and you explore how AI agents and human expertise can collaborate in hybrid operating models * You design and develop tailored PoD solutions — from requirements gathering through user-centred UI design and AI-assisted prototyping to go-live * You digitalise shopfloor processes end-to-end — process orders, material flow, quality inspections, and machine data integration — and you consistently unlock automation potential * You integrate SAP Digital Manufacturing with the broader SAP ecosystem — including SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Where you belong You will join a specialised team of experienced consultants, architects, and project managers with deep expertise in the chemicals and pharmaceuticals sector. As part of our Chemicals, Pharma \& Consumer Products industry practice, we help German industrial customers adopt SAP cloud solutions — quickly and with lasting impact. Precise delivery and long-term customer outcomes define our standard. Structured onboarding, a buddy programme, and a mentoring network support you from day one.
