Staff Frontend Engineer, DC Infrastructure Tooling

CoreWeaveSan Francisco, CA

$188,000 - $275,000/yr

CoreWeave is The Essential Cloud for AI™. Built for pioneers by pioneers, CoreWeave delivers a platform of technology, tools, and teams that enables innovators to build and scale AI with confidence. Trusted by leading AI labs, startups, and global enterprises, CoreWeave combines superior infrastructure performance with deep technical expertise to accelerate breakthroughs and turn compute into capability. Founded in 2017, CoreWeave became a publicly traded company (Nasdaq: CRWV) in March 2025. Learn more at www.coreweave.com. About This Role CoreWeave is building one of the world's largest AI-focused cloud infrastructure platforms. We're standing up new data centers at an extraordinary pace, and the complexity of planning, tracking, and orchestrating each build demands purpose-built tooling that doesn't exist today. We're forming a new team dedicated to building that tooling in-house. The goal: a high-performance internal platform that gives network engineers, fleet engineers, and operations teams the ability to plan, visualize, and manage massive amounts of physical infrastructure across dozens of sites. As the founding frontend engineer on this team, you'll own the UI layer for these tools. You'll work alongside backend engineers to build applications that handle the full scope of datacenter infrastructure: network switches, GPUs, servers, optical transceivers, PDUs, cooling systems, cable cutsheets, rack elevations, overheads, and more. Performance is non-negotiable . These tools need to render and interact with millions of objects per build without breaking a sweat. You'll make foundational technology decisions, establish the patterns and architecture that the team builds on, and have a direct hand in how quickly CoreWeave brings data centers online. What You'll Build Extremely high-performance interfaces for visualizing and planning datacenter infrastructure, often rendering massive amounts of structured records (device inventories, cable plans, rack assignments, power allocations) with sub-second interaction and filtering. Interactive planning tools for rack elevations, floor layouts, power distribution, and network topology that let engineers design, model, and validate builds before physical work begins. Data-dense views and dashboards that serve as the authoritative source for build planning and asset tracking across CoreWeave's global footprint. The frontend architecture from the ground up: component library, state management, data fetching patterns, and build tooling designed to scale with the team and product scope. Tight integrations with backend APIs (likely gRPC, GraphQL, or REST), collaborating closely with backend engineers to shape API contracts that support the performance and data complexity the UI demands. What We're Looking For Core Technical Skills Deep proficiency with TypeScript and React. You should be the kind of engineer who understands React's rendering model at a low level and can make deliberate decisions about when and how components re-render. Demonstrated experience building interfaces that handle large, complex datasets with extreme performance requirements: virtualized rendering, canvas or WebGL-based visualization, efficient DOM management, or similar techniques. Strong understanding of frontend architecture: component design, state management (particularly for complex, interconnected data models), data fetching and caching patterns, and build tooling. Experience designing and consuming APIs with attention to type safety, pagination, caching, and error handling. Track record of frontend performance optimization: bundle analysis, runtime profiling, and making data-heavy UIs feel fast under real load. Domain \& Problem-Solving Genuine curiosity about (or direct experience with) physical datacenter infrastructure. The ideal candidate has a working understanding of servers, GPUs, network switches, optical transceivers, structured cabling, power distribution, and cooling. You don't need to be a network engineer, but you should be someone who finds this domain interesting and wants to understand how these systems relate and fit together. Ability to work directly with infrastructure engineers (the end users of what you build) to understand their workflows, identify pain points, and translate complex operational processes into clean, usable interfaces. Comfort working on a newly formed team where you'll be making early architectural decisions that compound over time. We need someone who is deliberate about tradeoffs and can move quickly without being reckless or sacrificing performance. Experience \& Leadership Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 7+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, with meaningful senior-level ownership of production systems. For Staff level: demonstrated ability to make foundational architectural decisions and influence technical direction beyond your immediate team. Strong communication skills. You'll be working across network engineering, fleet engineering, operations, and design. You need to explain technical decisions clearly and advocate for frontend concerns in cross-functional discussions. Strong sense of ownership for the systems you build and the people who depend on them. Nice to Have Direct experience with datacenter operations, infrastructure planning, or familiarity with DCIM tools like NetBox or Sunbird. Experience working alongside backend teams writing Go, and comfort collaborating on API design across the stack. Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code, Kubernetes, or cloud platform concepts. You won't be directly deploying infrastructure, but understanding the ecosystem helps you build better tools for the engineers who do. Experience with frontend observability, CI/CD pipelines, and modern build systems. We're building this team's practices from scratch, and having strong opinions about how to ship tooling matters. Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and frontend security best practices for internal tooling. Why This Role Is Different This isn't maintaining a mature product or building another CRUD application. You're building the infrastructure planning and visualization platform for one of the fastest-growing cloud providers in the world. The data is real and physical, the problems are tangible, and the tools you build will directly determine how quickly we can bring new AI capacity online. Why CoreWeave? About At CoreWeave, we work hard, have fun, and move fast! We’re in an exciting stage of hyper-growth that you will not want to miss out on. We’re not afraid of a little chaos, and we’re constantly learning.

Senior Frontend Infrastructure Engineer

UniswapNew Yorkremote

$180,000 - $226,000/yr

Uniswap Labs builds products that help millions of people access DeFi simply and securely — from the Uniswap Web App and Wallet to crypto infrastructure like the Uniswap Trading API, and Unichain. Uniswap Labs also contributes to the development of the Uniswap Protocol, which has processed over $2.9 trillion in volume across thousands of tokens on Ethereum and 12+ other chains. When you join Uniswap, you become part of a team that's reshaping the way value flows on the internet. The Apps Infra team is the horizontal foundation that every product team at Uniswap builds on. We own the data layer, design systems, release and QA automation, UI libraries, and shared frontend services. We're product-centric at our core — the infra we build is always in service of the user experience, and we regularly contribute to product and design engineering work alongside our tooling and platform responsibilities. We also contribute heavily to AI-powered internal tools and automations that help the engineering org ship faster. We're looking for a senior engineer who goes deep: someone who can drive a large-scale migration one week, build an AI-powered CLI tool the next, and ship a polished UI component the week after that. You'll have strong opinions on tooling, care about developer experience, and treat product quality as the backbone of everything you build. RESPONSIBILITIES - Own and evolve Uniswap's shared frontend infrastructure — design systems, UI component libraries, data-fetching layers (React Query), and notification systems — across web and mobile - Contribute to product and design engineering work, keeping the team closely connected to what users experience - Build and contribute to AI-powered internal tools and automations — changelog builders, cherry-pick automations, CLI tools, and workflows that use LLMs like Claude to accelerate development - Lead large-scale migrations (e.g., Tamagui → Tailwind) with strong opinions on tooling choices and a plan that other teams can follow - Build and improve release automation, CI/CD pipelines, and QA tooling to increase reliability and developer velocity - Drive performance improvements across the all of our apps - Maintain backend-for-frontend services that support multiple product teams - Produce high-quality, well-tested code and thoughtful architecture docs; set the bar on PR reviews - Mentor engineers across teams through code review, documentation, and establishing best practices where none exist REQUIREMENTS - 5+ years of software engineering experience - Deep experience with both React and React Native; comfort working across web and mobile from a single codebase - Strong track record building developer tooling, design systems, or shared infrastructure — with a product sensibility that keeps you connected to what users actually touch - Opinions on frontend architecture, styling systems, data-fetching patterns, and build tooling — and the ability to back them up - Experience owning and delivering large, ambiguous projects end-to-end with minimal direction - Comfort with automation: CI/CD, release engineering, testing frameworks - Eager to push the boundaries of AI-assisted development — not just using the tools, but exploring what's newly possible - A desire to keep up with modern best practices in web and mobile development NICE TO HAVE - Active open source contributions — especially to projects like wagmi, viem, Next.js, React Router, TanStack, or similar frontend/tooling ecosystems - Experience building AI-powered developer tools, CLI tools, or internal automations with LLMs - Experience with Swift/Kotlin or native mobile development - Familiarity with crypto features and concepts — candidates with no crypto experience are still welcome (encouraged!) to apply - Experience at companies that value this kind of infra/platform/DX role (e.g., Shopify, Vercel, Replit, Phantom, Coinbase) - Degree in computer science - Love for unicorns :) Minimum full-time salary of $180,000-$226,000. Disclosure in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law. Full Time employees at Uniswap Labs are also eligible for other compensation elements, including tokens, and benefits, dependent on the position type. Uniswap Labs' Full-Time employee benefits include company-paid medical, dental, & vision for you and your dependents, wellness offerings including a partnership with Equinox Fitness Clubs, 401(k) with 4% employer contribution, annual $1,500 education stipend, unlimited and encouraged time off, up to 16 weeks paid parental leave, home office setup stipend for remote employees and daily lunches at NY headquarters (all benefits are subject to applicable taxes and based on eligibility). Uniswap Labs is committed to diversity in our workforce and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO). We provide employment opportunities without regard to age, race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, disability (including gender dysphoria and similar gender-related conditions), sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation (including actual or perceived heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality, and asexuality), veteran status, military status, domestic violence victim status, reproductive health decision making or any other protected category. Engineering Manager - SRE & Infrastructure (all genders)

envelio GmbHKöln, NW, DEonsite

From $180/yr

Kurz gesagt: Own it, love it, grow with it. We build products people genuinely love. Our features are impactful, our business is growing, and … it’s pretty great! We also love Datadog too – but let’s be honest: we have been operating on “ship it first, check the bill later”. And the bill has grown to the point we're actually looking for someone who can help us think through how to manage this in a more scalable way. We need a hero. A detective. Someone with a deep-seated love for logs, metrics, and most importantly, savings. You are not just an Infra Engineer; you are an economic covert ops specialist. Your glorious mission is to make our Datadog spend dramatically and sustainably go down. We're talking down down. The bill should look like it's been body-slammed by a professional wrestler. You will be embedded within the Infrastructure team, and will have the autonomy to look across every service to streamline and purge that which needs streamlining and purging. As you rack up wins, you'll increasingly become the person we intro
