GP partner or salaried GP, Anstruther, Fife. 5-6 sessions ideally but other levels of commitment would be considered Start Date would be: August 2026 We are a well established, friendly seaside Practice on the beautiful North East coast of Fife, Scotland. We have a vacancy for a GP to join our team, ideally in a permanent position as a partner or salaried GP. Ideally we would be looking for at least 5 sessions but we are able to be flexible around the number of sessions worked and also which days would be worked. We understand that balancing work and family life can be difficult and we would consider flexible working hours. As a partnership, we have a patient centred ethos and have built up strong links with the local community. We aim to be forward thinking in terms of technology and other efficiency strategies, without compromising on patient care. We place emphasis on maintaining a balance between work and home life. We also try to bring a personal touch to managing staff and work hard at creating a happy environment for the whole team. We meet every day at 11 am for coffee, usually with admin, nursing and pharmacy staff. There's plenty of opportunity to get support from colleagues. We have regular clinical meetings with our district nurses, practice nurses and pharmacy staff. We employ our own senior pharmacist, as well as receiving pharmacotherapy time from the health board. Practice Attributes Large, modern, purpose built premises Various community services on site: District Nurses, Health Visitors, Pharmacy Support, Treatment Room nurses, Mental Health Specialist etc 3 GP partners and 3 Salaried GP Full Nursing team, including specialist chronic disease management nurse and ANP support. Lower than average number of patients per GP ScotGEM teaching practice No extended hours or OOH commitments but OOH shifts available if desired. EMIS/PCS and DOCMAN system No QOF Close to St Andrews and Dundee Universities – clinical teaching opportunities at both. A varied but largely elderly population – we practice interesting, rewarding and realistic medicine. Beautiful, unspoiled coastline with characteristic, picturesque fishing villages. The practice is a 10 minute walk from the beach. Lively cultural scene (art festivals, music, community groups) and plenty of opportunities for outdoor pursuits enthusiasts (wild swimming, fishing, walking, water sports etc) Very good local schools Affordable housing 1 hour from Edinburgh, 45 minutes from Dundee and 15 minutes from St Andrews.
