The Employee Relations Specialist is the frontline owner of high-volume, low-to moderate risk employee relations work. Collaborate with other members of the People and Legal teams on inter-departmental issues and special projects, as assigned Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field Minimum of 2+ years of experience performing employee relations work; preferred 4-6+ YOE Demonstrated ability to assist in implementing and upholding employee relations strategies that align with NVA GP’s goals Experience in a multi-location organization, preferably in healthcare, veterinary services, or a similar industry is preferred Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO, and other federal, state, and local employment laws Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely Proven ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization Experience is creating proactive solutions to employee relations problems and resolving disputes effectively and efficiently Experience in assisting with complex employee relations issues and conducting workplace investigations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and diplomacy Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. The base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000-$100,000. Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
