Electrical Engineer (HVAC) Job Purpose Dinga Business Solutions is seeking a legally registered Electrical Engineer (HVAC) with proven experience in Electrical distribution, HVAC supplies, panels, protection, metering, earthing and certification. Professional registration: Active registration with ECSA as PrTechEng or PrEng Experience required: 3+ years of post-registration experience with ECSA Minimum educational requirements: Btech Electrical Engineering and/ or Bsc or BEng Electrical Engineering Key Responsibilities - Design electrical power distribution, motor control centers (MCCs), variable speed drives (VSDs), and cabling routes specifically for large-scale HVAC and mechanical plants -Integrate Building Management Systems (BMS) with HVAC automation, safety interlocks, and energy-monitoring equipment - Ensure electrical designs and installations comply with industry standards and legislation - Coordinate electrical requirements with mechanical HVAC engineers, site contractors, and architects -Oversee site testing, factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and system handover - Conduct site inspections, review construction progress, participate in factory acceptance tests and/ or site acceptance tests - Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), load schedules, cable sizing calculations, and technical specifications using specialized software.
