Role Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Specialist to join our team remotely in the USA. This role is ideal for a crypto-native professional with hands-on experience across DeFi protocols, on-chain strategies, and token ecosystems. As a DeFi Specialist, you will support investment, product, and strategy initiatives by analyzing protocols, identifying yield opportunities, and evaluating risk across decentralized markets. You will play a key role in helping the organization navigate and capitalize on the rapidly evolving DeFi landscape. What You Will Do • Research and analyze DeFi protocols including lending platforms, AMMs, staking systems, and liquidity pools. • Identify yield opportunities and assess associated smart contract, liquidity, and market risks. • Monitor on-chain activity, governance proposals, and protocol updates that may impact strategy. • Support portfolio and strategy teams with data-driven insights and actionable recommendations. • Build basic financial models and scenario analyses for DeFi strategies. • Stay up to date with emerging trends across DeFi, Layer-1/Layer-2 ecosystems, and tokenomics innovations. What We Are Looking For • Hands-on experience interacting with DeFi protocols and on-chain tools. • Strong understanding of smart contracts, tokenomics, and decentralized governance models. • Familiarity with on-chain analytics platforms and DeFi dashboards. • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate both opportunity and risk. • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment. • Strong passion for decentralized finance and the broader Web3 ecosystem.
