As a Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of translating business needs into actionable insights, leveraging cutting-edge tools and methodologies to support continuous growth and success. \ Project Overview The Child Support Services Applications Team is responsible for developing and maintaining applications in support of the Child Support Services Division (CSSD), including PACSS (Palmetto Automated Child Support System), SDNH (State Directory of New Hires), and the Client Portal application. Duties/Responsibilities: • Work closely with the State Functional Manager and Business Analysts to identify areas for improvement within PACSS and deliver practical, actionable recommendations. • Analyze existing workflows to uncover inefficiencies and pain points. • Design optimized workflows for complex processes in alignment with South Carolina business requirements. • Propose enhanced functionality for complex financial activities within PACSS. • Design self-guiding workflows, including guided navigation, tooltips, and contextual assistance, for critical areas such as order entry and financial adjustments. • Design user-friendly features such as step-by-step wizards, contextual help, and automated guidance to improve usability and reduce training needs. • Conduct stakeholder interviews as needed to gain a comprehensive understanding of South Carolina business processes. • Collaborate with other Business Analysts to develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and provide general assistance during testing activities. • Participate in regular functional meetings focused on user-reported issues, enhancements, and bug triage to review progress, discuss solutions, and align on priorities. Education and Certifications: A Bachelor’s degree is required.
