Summary: The Account Manager Burn Care representative is responsible for driving the adoption of our Nexobrid and Epicel products. The selected individual’s primary focus is to support case activity, educate on appropriate use, and drive account growth through business planning, territory management, and collaboration with internal teams. The Account Manager will cover Burn Care centers across Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. Core Responsibilities: Sales Execution \& Business Development: + Develop and execute strategic territory business plan aligned to sales target and market potential. + Identify and prioritize high-impact accounts and key opportunities for growth. + Lead customer segmentation, targeting follow-ups to drive adoption. + Track performance metrics and adapt plans to exceed territory objectives Account Management \& Market Access: + Navigate complex hospital procurement and formulary processes to secure product access. + Present to VAC and P\&T committees. + Collaborate with field reimbursement and market access teams to create coverage opportunities. + Monitor inventory utilization to support consistent product availability. Customer \& Clinical Engagement: + Serve as primary point of contact for burn centers including surgeons, nurses, and hospital administrators. + Deliver on-site clinical education and product in-servicing to ensure appropriate product use. + Develop and nurture clinical champions to drive sustained engagement. Cross Functional-Collaboration: + Partner with Burn Clinical Specialists to support education and case success. + Coordinate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and reimbursement teams to align on account strategy. + Share market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to inform broader strategy. + Work closely with Clinical Support, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and internal stakeholders to align on goals and ensure high-quality support for customers. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Masters preferred. 3-5+ years of experience of hospital-based specialty healthcare products sales, ideally in burn or wound care. Must have a track record of exceeding sales goals in an OR environment. Strong knowledge of hospital systems, surgical procedures, and sterile field protocols. A professional approach that sees patient welfare as the highest priority, with a strong drive to connect our products and services with appropriate patients. Successful background in territory and complex account management with an assertive “hunter” approach. Understanding of medical reimbursement (billing, coding, coverage, and payment) in the healthcare system. Proven ability to develop and manage high-value accounts, build long-term customer relationships, and drive revenue growth. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a dynamic environment. Must manage daily travel demands, including occasional overnights and weekend days. Why Vericel?
