What's in it for you: This Technical Writer has responsibilities that include the following: Develop and maintain technical content regarding company products and processes including Installation, Operators, Maintenance, Diagnostic and Parts manuals in addition to development and maintaining of Program Policy and Procedure manuals. This role is critical to further strengthening the Thermo King Dealer network by providing clear, accurate and consistent technical information and instructions to multiple audiences to include: service personnel within the dealerships, external customers, OEM’s and internal teams such as Engineering, Marketing, Service and Technical Training. This position is a on-site role (4 days a week on-site) located in Bloomington, MN. What you will do: * Work cross functionally with and establish good working relationships with Technical Operations teams, Engineering, Publications, Education Center and other departments. * Research, collect and analyze data specific to product(s)/project(s) for use in creating technical literature for installation, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting processes as well as development of policy and procedure information. * Organize and check information for accuracy using technology and resources available (Wind Chill, computer aided drafting (CAD) drawings, PDF drawing files, wiring and schematic drawings and bill of materials (BOM). * Ability to author/manage content with an XML editor (PTC Arbortext preferred) * Create and/or edit illustrations for use in explaining service or process procedures using software technology (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Corel Draw, Pro-E, etc..) What you will bring: * At least 5 years’ experience with technical authoring/writing, technical illustration and desktop publishing. * At least 1 year experience working with XML authoring software * Ability to communicate with and understand highly technical subject matter experts to aid in document development for dealers, customers and internal teams. * Must be flexible and adaptable to changing demands and priorities. * Must be self-sufficient and a self-starter who requires minimal direction with the ability to learn and comprehend new and complex systems and software packages. Additional Skills Preferred * Knowledge/familiarity of Thermo King Products and Dealer network operations. * Knowledge of PTC’s Arbortext Editor and publishing as well as an understanding of the DITA standard for creation and managing of information. * Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of an organization from Individual Contributors to Executive Leadership. * Experience with Illustration programs (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign and CorelDraw) Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $78,406.66 - $109,479.99Compensation Type: SalaryIncentive Eligible: NoSales Commission Eligible: NoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors. The Energy Services Project Manager is responsible for project financials, administration, implementation, management, and customer satisfaction for all assigned projects. They lead the project team through all facets of the project and is the established point of contact for stakeholders. The Energy Services Project Manager manages a portfolio of projects that could contain both smaller and larger multi- building or complex construction projects. The Energy Services Project Manager is knowledgeable on current job market and pricing strategies and has the ability to support sales functions with developing scope. What you will do: Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and developing communication plans with both internal and external stakeholders to provide timely project updates Leads all aspects of project administration including, responsibility for knowledge of and adherence to contract penalty clauses and / or liquidated damages, analyzing reporting to identify project deficiencies and provides guidance on corrective actions, managing projects to business compliance, project documentation, safety guidelines, and maneuvering through governing agencies requirements including the state, city, county, federal and local level Financially manages all aspects of projects including cash flow, monthly forecasted cost / revenue, forecasted cost at completion, monitoring expenses, collections support, applied cost, and oversees preparation and communications for monthly backlog review with leaders. Validate project scope, cost, schedule by reviewing contract documents, holding internal meetings and establishing customer expectations, and identify risks and developing mitigation plans Utilizes properly qualified subcontractors, oversees subcontractor RFQ process, awards subcontracts, manages subcontractor execution, and collaborates with subcontractors to establish communication guidelines for project progress, project meetings, billing expectations and project safety. Create and maintain project schedules utilizing tasks, dependencies, milestones What you will bring: Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Project Management degree preferred 3-5 years’ experience with Project Schedules / PM Construction software Extensive financial analysis experience, including cost segregation, margin analysis, earned value management (EVM), or similar project‑based financial methodologies. Strong financial project management ability with enough technical or construction knowledge to manage scope, schedule, and risk. Prior experience resolving collections and customer financial issues during project execution. Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit \& Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years. This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.
