IT Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven IT Business Analyst to lead complex requirements analysis and act as a strategic interface between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. The role requires strong analytical capability, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical and functional specifications that drive successful technology implementations. Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities): Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across complex IT and digital transformation programmes. Elicit, analyse, validate, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements using structured methodologies. Translate business needs into detailed BRDs, FRDs, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process models. Conduct business process modelling, gap analysis, root-cause analysis, and impact assessments. Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, QA teams, and third-party vendors. Support Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement validation sessions with senior stakeholders and end users. Support solution design to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives, security standards, and regulatory requirements. Define and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategy, scenarios, execution, and business sign-off. Analyse data, reports, and system outputs to support informed business decision-making. Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints, proactively proposing mitigation strategies. Support change management, training support, and stakeholder communication activities. Provide post-implementation support, benefits realisation analysis, and continuous improvement recommendations. Maintain high-quality documentation, traceability matrices, process diagrams, and release artefacts. Proven experience in test case design, test scenario creation, and test execution using structured testing techniques.
