Behavior Consultant - ABA/ Behavior Analyst BCBA

Responsibilities Develop and Monitor Treatment Plans Create and oversee individualized treatment plans for children/adolescents diagnosed with behavioral and mental health disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). Enhance Adaptive Skills Assist in developing adaptive skills to help the diagnosed child take a more positive role in school, home, and community settings. Behavioral Consultation Provide prescribed behavioral consultation to families and schools to support the childs progress. Train Behavior Health Technicians (BHT) Train BHTs on appropriate therapeutic interventions to ensure consistent and effective implementation. Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) Perform FBAs to identify the functions of behaviors and inform intervention strategies. Caseload Management Manage a caseload of multiple clients, typically authorized 2-3 hours per week for each clients family based on medical necessity. Assess Strengths and Needs Evaluate the family’s and consumers strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences to tailor interventions effectively. Implement and Facilitate Treatment Plans Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans, facilitating skill transfer to all caregivers involved. Data Collection and Record Maintenance Maintain and complete data collection and treatment records to track progress and inform future interventions. Promote Organizational Values Act as a steward of PBC’s mission, vision, values, and beliefs, ensuring that all actions align with organizational goals. Requirements Qualifications: Educational Background: Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or a related program. Pennsylvania (PA) License in one of the following: Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, Social Worker, or Behavior Specialist. At least 12 credits in ABA from an accredited college/university. A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services. Credentials: Clearances (within the last 12 months): o PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance o PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance o FBI Department of Human Services background clearance (Service code: 1KG738) Job Type: Contract Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour Ability to Commute: * Lancaster, PA (Required) Work Location: In person
