Job Description Summary: This job will be responsible for providing daily management and coordination of daily practice operations to practice office managers/ practice managers/ practice administrators with an operational scope of up to 20-30 employed physician practices, up to 75 physicians and 25 advanced practice practitioners. Responsibilities And Duties: 10% : Working directly with Operations Directors to analyze the growth and financial viability of areas of responsibility This position will require strategic competence of business growth for individual practices and/ or service lines within the Physician employed group. The position requires the ability to interface and develop strong relationships within the system, including all pertinent business units to meet strategic goals. 25% Directing and evaluating practice operations of each location. This position will include oversight and direction of pertinent service and division representatives and associated FTEs quality representatives, and financials. 15% : This position will require mentorship of managers within the MSF as well as overseeing the residency portion of the MSF Talent manager program. This position will be required to teach and mentor new and existing managers to increase competencies. 25% Strategically work to improve, define operational goals and objectives to strengthen physician practices. This position will include working with the practice managers to review financials, productivity, and creating operational plans to improve operations within the practices. 25% Quality: This role will work directly with the clinical administrative staff within the MSF as well as the practice managers to facilitate and direct pertinent quality system initiatives. These initiatives include, but are not limited to: Patient safety, care outcome improvements, research, and operational efficiency initiatives. Job Description Summary: Supports the management and engagement of an on-site employer fitness center. Responsibilities include group fitness classes, personal training, membership services tasks, creating fitness challenges and other engagement opportunities within the employer space. Responsibilities And Duties: 50% Quality Service 1. Performs and evaluates fitness assessments, including but not limited to, sub-maximal VO2, body composition, flexibility, muscular strength and endurance. 2. Circulates among participants, evaluates progress and makes appropriate modifications to current program s to facilitate achievement of goals or establishing new goals. 3. Leads and instructs participants and interdisciplinary staff in use of strength training and cardiovascular/aerobic equipment and/or stretching and body awareness activities as needed. 4. Assists in check-in as needed. 5. Develops exercise treatment plan and goal setting including home exercise plan based on assessment data, problem/risk factors, baseline exercise stress test, and participant preferences. 6. Presents and/or attends educational sessions focused on improving knowledge and skills in various aspects of physical activity and behavioral change. 8. Athletic Trainer - Orthopedic Clinic

Job Description Summary: Evaluates, assesses, and treats musculoskeletal injuries and sports concussions that present in the Sports Medicine Physician practice, with oversight from and in consultation with a physician. Provides on-site home exercise instruction, splinting/bracing and instructions, gait modification training, etc. in accordance with The Ohio Athletic Training Practice Act and the NATA physician practice value model. Assists medical staff with completing required medical documentation, statistics, and other administrative paperwork per OhioHealth policy and at the request of the department/supervisor. They will act as a liaison between the patients and medical team, provide patient education on the care of injuries, home going instructions, monitoring of symptoms, next steps in care, etc. Assists OhioHealth ambulatory or other musculoskeletal specialists with events and additional coverage as needed. Provides excellent patient care through the special skill set of an athletic trainer that augments and supports the services of the physicians and other health care providers. Provides efficient care to the patient by utilizing a team approach that insures timely and effective diagnosis and treatments, including but not limited to evaluation / screening for possible office imaging, bracing, or additional treatment options. Responsibilities And Duties: a. The Athletic Trainer can obtain and record a patient history, perform a physical exam, and order diagnostic test after consultation with physician and/or if physician protocol orders are in place. b. Provides neurocognitive, BESS and SCAT testing for concussion patients. c. Performs cast/brace application and removal under the direct supervision of the physician; Gathers necessary equipment, positions patient, responds to instructions from the physician. d. Performs dressing changes, application of topical agents, splint changes and other orthopedic related medical tasks. e. Performs and documents vital signs on each patient, documents in EMR and reports to the physician; assists physician with procedures as required. f. Schedules, coordinates, and records patient’s medical tests, x-ray, lab work and pre-admission tests for patients. Calls in patient prescriptions according to physician’s order. g. Supports physician in composing correspondence (e.g., work and school excuse, letters). h. Works in a collaborative manner with the Practice Manager, Office Coordinator/Supervisor/Team Lead, physicians, and the staff; provides support to the medical office staff as needed (telephone coverage, appointment scheduling, registration, managing room inventory, etc.) i. Provides on-site home exercise instruction, splint/bracing instructions, crutch training, etc. in accordance with The Ohio Athletic Training Practice Act, and OhioHealth procedures and protocols. j. Completes required medical documentation, statistics, and other administrative paperwork per policy and at the request of the department/supervisor. k. Is a liaison between the patients and medical team and is an advocate for them; Communicates with patients and is a liaison between their primary care physician, specialists, rehabilitation, sports medicine physicians, etc. and assists with scheduling of appointments; provides follow-up with patients upon discharge to assist with any questions/concerns or additional assistance related to appropriate follow up care as requested by the physician. l. Maintains patient records; compiles statistics; prepares reports for review by management. m. Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested; participates in office and corporate quality improvement. n. Provides mentoring and professional development of students (high school and College/University) as it relates to athletic training and healthcare fields per OhioHealth policy. Participates as an Approved Clinical Instructor for area College/University Athletic Training Students to help in their clinical experience and education. o. May participate on appropriate committees and for program development and evaluation necessary for the continued successful quality of care and advancement of OhioHealth Physician Group practices.
