We are seeking an experienced product architect to join our Middle Office Core Platform Organization. This team owns systems, services and initiatives to provide financial products to our customers across digital channels. This organization is responsible for building financial products and platform capabilities and components that are used by millions of customers daily. You will be working in Middle Office Core Platform Organization to drive modernization initiatives using the latest cloud and other open-source technologies. You are builder and have deep understanding of tools and technologies to create architecture that delivers business outcomes. You will be responsible for architecting a modern architecture leveraging loosely coupled domain services, modern data integration patterns and secure and scalable architecture. Essential Responsibilities: * You will work closely with other architects and engineering leadership to understand requirements and ensure enterprise best architecture practices are adopted in product * Providing direction to the product development teams with regards to planning, definition, and high-level solution design, establishing critical non-functional requirements and participating in defining other functional requirements. * You must be comfortable presenting your ideas to all levels of management, technical and non-technical audiences, and guiding engineering teams in their implementation. * Perform technical design reviews and peer reviews on source code to ensure reuse, scalability and the use of best practices. * Build reference architecture and solutions that are flexible and can evolve with business needs * Demonstrate the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment Drive innovation by using innovative new technologies and approaches to renovate, extend, and transform the existing core technology base around cloud, microservices, high transaction databases, and API-enabled platforms and products Qualifications: * Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) * 10+ years of relevant professional experience preferably with a Master's in Computer Science. Financial Services or FinTech experience is a plus * Technical Expertise: * Hands-on experience building services using cloud native technologies and enterprise-scale experience with migrating and decomposing monoliths into services. * Expert knowledge of cloud native and microservices architecture, design principles and technologies and can mentor teams in implementing it * Demonstrable deep experience in rethinking/reimagining existing service/application architecture as it is migrated to cloud. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $140,000 and $250,000 per year at the commencement of employment. This role combines deep technical expertise in blockchain systems with strong leadership to deliver enterprise-grade products for global markets. Responsibilities • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of blockchain engineers, smart contract developers, and backend/frontend developers. • Define the engineering roadmap for blockchain infrastructure, tokenization platforms, and digital asset services. • Oversee design, architecture, and implementation of blockchain-based solutions, ensuring security, scalability, and compliance with applicable regulations. • Collaborate with product, compliance, and operations teams to define technical requirements. • Evaluate and integrate blockchain protocols (Ethereum, Polygon, Hyperledger, Canton, etc.) based on product needs. • Manage the release lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, and production reliability. • Implement and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and security. • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging standards, and evolving regulatory frameworks in digital assets. Requirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. • 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in blockchain and tokenization. • 5+ years in an engineering leadership role managing distributed teams. • Strong knowledge of blockchain architecture, consensus algorithms, smart contracts, and cryptographic primitives. • Experience with Solidity, Rust, Go, or similar languages for blockchain development. • Familiarity with custodial and non-custodial wallet infrastructure, key management, and secure signing. • Understanding of token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1400, etc.) and on/off-chain settlement workflows. • Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade software systems at scale. Nice-to-haves • Experience in regulated financial services or fintech. • Knowledge of DvP (Delivery versus Payment) and tokenized securities workflows. • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and DevOps tools. • Experience with Web3
