Senior DevOps / AWS Cloud Engineer Location: United States Job Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 10–15 Years Work Authorization: Authorized to work in the U.S. Work Model: Hybrid / Onsite Job Overview We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps / AWS Cloud Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipeline implementation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native technologies. This role requires strong hands-on experience in designing scalable cloud platforms, automating deployments, improving system reliability, implementing DevSecOps practices, and supporting enterprise production environments. The candidate will work closely with Development, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to drive cloud modernization and operational excellence initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible. Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred). Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or similar deployment tools. Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Splunk. Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment and release processes. Implement DevSecOps best practices including vulnerability scanning, IAM policies, secrets management, and compliance automation. Support production incidents, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization. Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. Build reusable Infrastructure as Code modules and automation frameworks. Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives. Maintain documentation, operational procedures, and technical standards. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to platform engineering initiatives. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and technical design discussions. Required Skills \& Experience 10–15 years of overall IT experience with strong DevOps and Cloud Engineering background. 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience in enterprise environments. Strong experience with: AWS Services (EC2, EKS, S3, Lambda, IAM, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch, Route53, Load Balancers) Kubernetes and Docker Terraform and Infrastructure as Code CI/CD pipeline automation Linux Administration Git and version control systems Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI Python or Shell scripting Monitoring and observability tools Experience with DevSecOps and cloud security best practices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with: ArgoCD / GitOps Helm Charts OpenShift Service Mesh technologies Multi-cloud environments (Azure/GCP) Platform Engineering SRE methodologies FinOps and cloud cost optimization AI Ops / MLOps platforms * AWS or Kubernetes certifications preferred.
