About the role Evergreen Lifestyle is looking for an experienced, creative and highly organised Graphic Designer with 5–8+ years’ experience to join our marketing team. This is a hands-on role covering digital, print, social media, email, video, advertising, events and sales collateral. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to create engaging, commercially effective content that brings the Evergreen brand to life. The ideal candidate is fast, adaptable and highly creative, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining quality and brand consistency. You’ll need to understand how to tailor creative to different generations and audiences, while keeping the Evergreen brand contemporary, warm and relevant. Key responsibilities * Develop creative concepts and artwork across digital and print. * Design social media content, digital advertising, website assets, presentations, brochures, sales collateral and promotional material. * Design and build email campaigns and newsletters in HubSpot. * Create and edit short-form video content for social media and digital campaigns. * Create on-brand Canva templates that enable non-designers to produce professional content. * Adapt creative across platforms, formats, campaigns and audiences. * Develop creative for different generations and target audiences while maintaining a consistent brand identity. * Create artwork and collateral for indoor and outdoor events and brand activations. * Use AI tools and AI-generated imagery to enhance creative output, develop concepts and improve efficiency. * Maintain brand guidelines and consistency across all creative. * Manage multiple projects and deadlines, including short-notice and urgent requirements. * Prepare artwork correctly for digital and print production. * Source, edit and retouch photography and other visual assets. * Maintain organised design files, templates and brand assets. * Keep up to date with design, digital, social media, AI and creative trends. * Assist with photoshoots, video production and other creative projects. Requirements and skills * 5–8+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a marketing, corporate or agency environment. * Relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field. * Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent design, layout, typography and visual communication. * Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. * Proven experience designing and building emails in HubSpot, or a similar CRM or email marketing tool. * Strong Canva skills, including creating templates for non-designers. * Experience in video creation and editing, particularly short-form content. * Experience using AI-powered creative and design tools, including AI image generation. * Strong understanding of branding, digital design and designing for different platforms and screen sizes. * Ability to create creative that resonates with different generations and audiences. * Experience with event and brand activations, both indoor and outdoor. * Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management. * Ability to work quickly, manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines. * Ability to interpret a brief and translate the objective into effective creative. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. * Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable working independently. * Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new tools, platforms and brand environments. * Knowledge of the residential or retirement property sectors would be an advantage. The ideal person We're looking for a designer who understands that great design is about more than making something look good. You should be able to understand the audience, objective and message and translate these into creative that connects. You'll be comfortable moving between a social media campaign, digital advert, brochure, sales presentation, HubSpot email, Canva template, billboard design, video and event collateral – often within the same day. You should be creative, commercially minded, fast, adaptable and confident working in a busy marketing environment. You should also be comfortable embracing new technology and using tools such as AI to find smarter and more efficient ways to work. Most importantly, you should have the ability to create contemporary, engaging and relevant creative for different generations, while retaining the warmth and authenticity of the Evergreen brand. Responsibilities and Duties Key responsibility 1: Clinical Care * Initiates and applies appropriate preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative nursing procedures and techniques and maintains communication regarding resident care with the Dr and supervisory staff. * Observes the resident for changes in condition and reports these changes. * Assist the resident, family/caregiver and other healthcare staff in providing continuity of care. * Works in cooperation with the family/ caregiver and team members to meet emotional needs of the resident and family/caregiver and makes referrals as appropriate. * Manages Emergency Procedures. * The scope of practice of a Professional Nurse shall entail the following clinical acts or procedures, which may be performed by scientifically based physical, chemical, psychological, spiritual, social, financial, educational and technological means applicable to health, care and support in the care of older persons: * Diagnosing of health, care, and support needs. * Prescribe a nursing regimen (nursing care plan) if or when necessary. * Execute a treatment program, care, and support on medication prescribed. * Monitor the treatment and care plan. * Monitor and record the pharmaco-dynamics of medication administered i.e., vital signs and reaction to medication administered. * Monitor disease conditions, trauma, stress, anxiety, ageing process, vital signs. * Prescribe, promote and supervise the maintenance of personal hygiene, physical comfort and reassurance of the older person. * Promote exercise, rest, sleep and wellbeing to enhance rehabilitation and healing. * Facilitate the healing of wounds and fractures, protect the skin and maintain sensory functions. * Facilitate body mechanics and prevent bodily deformities e.g. drop foot. * Supervise over and maintain fluid, electrolytes and acid base balance. * Provide wound care, ensure protection of the skin and prevent pressure ulcers. * Supervise the maintenance of body temperature of the elderly. * Supervise feeding and facilitate maintenance of nutrition of older persons. * Monitor and maintain elimination by older persons in care. * Communicate with the resident with regard to his/her nursing regimen. * Create a milieu therapeutic in promoting physical and mental health. * Assist the doctor on rounds and in performing therapeutic interventions. * Co-ordinate the health care regimens and responsibilities delegated to the nursing team. * Provide terminal care to the dying resident and enable the execution of last offices. Key responsibility 2: Professional Administration * Seeks and obtains sufficient information necessary to function effectively in the healthcare setting where assigned. * Provides professional nursing care by utilizing all elements of the nursing process. * Assesses and evaluate residents’ status by: * Writing and initiating Plan of Care * Regularly re-evaluating resident needs * Revising the Plan of Care as necessary * Initiates and sustains the implementation of orders for medications and treatments as prescribed by the Doctor. * Completes, maintains and submits accurate and relevant clinical notes regarding resident’s condition and care given. Submits documentation in a timely fashion. * Uses supplies and equipment effectively and efficiently. * Assists the resident with the activities of daily living and facilitates the resident’s efforts for self-sufficiency and independence. * Teaches the resident and family/caregiver self-care techniques as appropriate. * Provides instructions/education on disease process, medication, diet, safety and utilizes opportunities for health counselling with residents and families/ caregivers. * Provides and maintains a safe environment for the resident. * Conversant with monitoring and evaluating resident care outcomes. * Maintains consistent lines of authority and responsibility. * Supervise ancillary staff and delegates responsibilities when required. * Refers to the multidisciplinary team as required. * Accepts responsibility to perform a professional nursing procedure. * Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development and maintains and upgrades professional knowledge and practise skills through attendance and participation in continuing education and in-service classes. * Takes responsibility for the on-call system, rotating through on-call schedule as needed. * Fulfils the obligation of requested and/or accepted case assignments. * Maintains resident confidentiality. * Ensures infection prevention control in the clinic and care centre through hand hygiene and all other measures, with regular training of all staff on IPC. * Conduct DQ98 interviews as requested. * Conduct mini mental assessments as requested. * Performance management of other categories of staff in the care team. * Writing reports as required by management. * Ensure that all nursing documentation, legislation and other policy and procedure files are updated and enacted. * Provide teaching and counselling to prevent disease and promote health. * Provide effective advocacy to enable older persons to maintain and restore health. * Report and record all abnormalities, co-morbidities. * Observe, report and record any possible form of abuse of the older person. * Continuously monitor safety and infection risks and implement preventative measures. * Demonstrate leadership skills and participate in nursing research projects. * Prioritise tasks, efficiently manages time, and delegate tasks within parameters of Scope of Practice to staff reporting to him/her.
