And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered — and we couldn’t do it without you. Make a Difference The Athletic Trainer intern will support the orthopedic department in Kokomo, IN. The internship will provide exposure to the daily operations of an orthopedic clinic and the role of a certified athletic trainer within that setting. Responsibilities may include assisting with equipment and supply inentory, observing sideline coverage, and gaining an understanding of injury management and rehabilitaion workflows. They will have the opportunity to observe clinical flow, interdisciplinary collaboration, and overal clinic and outreach operations. Ideal candidates are students with a strong interest in orthopedic or sports medicine, athletic training, physical therapy, or related healthcare fields, who are eager to gain hands-on exposure in a fast-paced sports medicine environment. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent One year completion of college and currently enrolled at a college or university Ability to work remotely or onsite Ability to work independently or in a team setting Time-management skills Detail oriented Professional and ethical demeanor Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Strong interpersonal skills Ability to communicate effectively * Ability to work independently and in a team environment Why Community?
