Your challenges: The Creatives team works on and is responsible for our Image Editor and related image-processing features. You will be working on the backend and sometimes a little bit on the frontend of a complex distributed web application. Our tool provides several different services, written in Haskell, Python, and Rust. In this position, you will be responsible for the architecture, development, and maintenance of new and old image-related features in our application. An important aspect of our work is scaling our services to the next level, so we can handle another order of magnitude increase in throughput while keeping our app fast and responsive. To give you a sense of scale: a couple hundred millions of images are inspected, transformed and created by our services every day. Plan and shape the future of the Creatives suite of features with our tight-knit team Design, develop, and test new product features Collaborate with and review PRs of other team members Improve the reliability and robustness of our application Work on scalability and performance improvements Collaborate with our other product and platform teams to integrate image-manipulating features with other parts of our tool. Our Stack includes: Haskell, Python, Rust, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, React, Ansible, Terraform, Prometheus. And we run all of our infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. Who are you? You have good programming skills in Haskell (or a similar typed functional language) You are familiar with other programming languages and polyglot programming: we regularly need to make modifications in services written in other languages (especially Python and Rust) as well You have approximately 4-5 years of professional software engineering experience You have experience in tuning and scaling a big application You have experience with web development, web technologies, and APIs Familiarity with SQL and relational databases, preferably Postgres Good working knowledge of Linux, git, and the command line. Nice to have: Knowledge of Haskell libraries like warp, conduit, async, servant, aeson, effectful Knowledge of Rust and its ecosystem Prior experience in image processing Some knowledge of TypeScript/React, which we use in our WYSIWYG Image Editor A passion to provide value to customers and figuring out the 'question behind the question'. You'll work with senior specialists, marketing leads, heads of e-commerce, and decision-makers to understand what their business is trying to achieve this year and how their digital marketing team is measured against it. What you bring: * You have 3+ years' experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Partnership Management, or a similar client-facing commercial role, with a track record on large or complex accounts. Your role in a nutshell: you'll own Channable's most strategic Benelux relationships: (inter)national brands with digital marketing teams in the region, and our biggest Agency Partners (Gold & Silver). You'll work with senior specialists, marketing leads, heads of e-commerce, and decision-makers to understand what their business is trying to achieve this year and how their digital marketing team is measured against it. Stakeholder management & multi-threading: building and maintaining relationships across the whole account, from hands-on specialists to executive sponsors, so no relationship rests on a single contact. Strategic cadence: kick-offs, Impact Reviews, realizing success plans with outcome-driven and goal-focused metrics, check-ins, demos, hosting trainings, and commercially led meetings, online and onsite, in the market. Portfolio & account ownership: retention, expansion and net new MRR across a named set of top-tier accounts; identifying risk early, preventing churn and downgrades; pipeline creation and forecasting. Voice of the customer: running trainings and enablement for large advertisers and partner teams, feeding client insight back to product and commercial, and turning your strongest accounts into webinars, success stories and references. Raising the bar: contributing to how we manage the strategic segment, account plans, risk signals, expansion playbooks, and Customer Success processes. What you bring: You have 3+ years' experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Partnership Management, or a similar client-facing commercial role, with a track record on large or complex accounts. Experience on the other side of the table, at a marketing agency or in-house at a brand, counts fully. You build relationships across an organisation, from hands-on specialists to senior decision-makers, and you're willing to challenge a client when their plan won't get them where they say they want to go.
