Executive Assistant to the CEO
Better Family Life, Inc. (BFL) is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families and communities through cultural, educational, economic, and social services. We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to the CEO to join our team. This pivotal role provides direct support to the Chief Executive Officer, serving as a trusted partner in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the CEO’s office and the organization at large. Key Responsibilities * Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel. * Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other professional documents. * Serve as a primary point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and follow-through. * Manage board relations: schedule meetings, prepare agendas, compile materials, and record minutes. * Conduct research, collect data, and prepare background information to support strategic initiatives. * Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information with the utmost discretion. * Support organizational events, projects, and initiatives as assigned by the CEO. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience considered. * Minimum 5 years of experience as an executive assistant, preferably in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations. * Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual collaboration platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.). * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a high level of professionalism. * Commitment to the mission, values, and vision of Better Family Life.
